In the company of my dear friends,
Life is full of joy that never ends,
Laughter echoes and playful fun,
Making memories that shine like the sun.

But as the night grows darker still,
Overthinking creeps in, with a chill,
Doubts and fears start to fill my head,
Wondering if my friends truly dread.

Do they secretly hate me so?
Backstabbing behind my back,
I don't know,
The thought is too much to bear,
My heart heavy with doubt and despair.

Yet in the light of day's bright glow,
I'll remember what I already know,
My friends are true, loyal and kind, A treasure trove of love, hard to find.

So I won't let overthinking rule,
Or let it make me feel like a fool,
I'll cherish my friends, each and every one,
And bask in the warmth of a true bond.
