My GOTY for 2014.

Lovely Planet is the most simple kind of first person shooter you can play. It's an FPS on the surface and into the core, which is not a bad thing, it's a very good thing actually. With pastel like colors, angry squares shooting at you and a lovely upbeat soundtrack composed by Calum Bowen, Lovely Planet is a great game with everything on point.

What do you do in Lovely Planet? Well you shoot purple bullets towards other purple bullets, shapes with eyes that just stand in place and shapes with eyes that shoot homing bullets at you. And many more things you can shoot at (or be shot from).
Most of the skill of the game comes from taking the right paths, taking them quickly while managing to avoid and shoot "baddies". You can also "ace" (or 100%) levels by completing them under a certain time limit while not missing a shot. The game gets to a point where my brain can't handle all the things happening on screen, which makes a great practice game with a sense of triumph at the end of every level.

It also has a leaderboard, my favorite thing! Where you can see how good you are compared to strangers and your steam friends. Most of my steam friend gave up on forest, so I mostly have strangers, lovely. GO PLAY IT NOW.

Dustforce takes platformers tested by time, such as Megaman and refines the genre to it's maximal potential. Everything is spot on, you are in full control, precise and absolutely magnificent. It takes a while to get used to the gravity, controls and all these essential elements in the game, but even after you got the hang of the basics, there are many more things to master. From combat to advanced techniques, there is always room for improvement.
Dustforce was made for speedrunning, you can clearly see it with the leaderboard and replays of playthroughs of every player's best runs. You can see the best players what exactly they did at every level and learn the routes and have the wonderful experience of speedrunning, where you play the same level for half an hour to get that 0.07 second advantage.

The nature is not playing games when you are a boar mother with 4 children. 3? 2? Where are my babies?!!
Brought to you by Might and Delight with beautiful graphics, at least I like the textures a lot. Hunt, collect food or get eaten. Developers said they want the human factor removed from this game, and they success. You experience everything from predators to forest fire.

But whatever you do, the nature cycle is inevitable.

How could you like this game?! Or how could you hate on it. That is up to you.
Install infinite mods and maps from the community workshop and the fun begins. Mess around with the sandbox, hide around in Prop hunt or suspect your friends in Trouble in Terrorist town to name the most popular. You can make scenes animation anything you like.

It's not called a Garry's MOD for no reason.

In what I played, I do not reccomend this game. People are rarely online, mainly around the evening but still. You are on your little ship navigating around a desert with 3 more crew members. The impact you have on your ship, as an Engineer seem miner when you are under a constant fire. If you are going to buy this, a lot of times its hard to play when you actually want to. Best with friend, if you find some to play it with.

A game often recognised as a "rage game", of course the worst thing is you can't be mad at anyone but yourself.

Fluid controls, great music and genius level design result in alot hours of fun. You can swipe trough all the levels or get A+ and all the bandages. Super meat boy is our main hero that tries to save his girlfriend. At your journey you can unlock other indie game characters by completing the "Retro warp zones" or collecting Bandages trough out the levels.

But there is one thing, one thing that will ruin your experience till you do not complete it. CH4 The Hell has a boss that smashes you with his fists or his face. The only thing you'll have to do there is to memorize every of his moves. And it's a boss so you will not move till you complete him!

Other than that a grate game, there's even drink game for it!

A small island with many surprises. Oh, so many surprises. I am an owner of a Proteus guide and daily I get comments of thing in this game that I've never heard before. With community, the Proteus grows almost as some kind of living organism.

Many people have arguments that this is not really a game, and well, it reall isn't. There is no goal, not even any purpose. You can interact with the nature, but cannot change the nature. Just play it for yourself and look arond, listen carefully for the chances are slim.

Portal 2 added to the franchise a lot of things, more character and a Lore that wasn't simlpe as in the first instalment. Try it out for yourself, it's like less than an euro during the sales.

Lots and lots of fun with your friends and strangers. Team Fortress 2 is a class based shooter with actual classes, not just Perks. Every class finds its function somewhere, offence or defence. Many different maps and variety of weapons add to the fun, you can get better and better without any kind of a meter or stats, its all about you.
