A few questlines held my attention, notably the Crimson Fleet and Entangled. However, the main questline lacks any creativity whatsoever; unlock a new desolate planet, grab the new power from the temple. Rinse and repeat.

Dialogue is boring and characters are bland. Combat and gun-play is average. Ship building is alright but most ship parts require a pretty heavy time investment to unlock. I'd rather spend my time playing something less bland.

Don't listen to Todd Howard's BS, this is an extremely poorly optimized game.
