Having spent around 7 hours with the sequel to the original Shapez, I can confidently say that this game offers a distinctly different experience. The core objective remains delivering shapes to the vortex, starting from simple patterns and progressing to incredibly complex designs. This is where the challenge lies—constructing an efficient factory to create these shapes. Unlike the original, where you could breeze through levels and unlock new features relatively quickly, this sequel demands more time and patience to reach milestones and complete side quests. The longer progression might be a point of contention for some, but it also adds depth and satisfaction when you achieve those big breakthroughs.
