Enttäuschend.

Für Fans des vor allem letztens Teils (mich eingeschlossen), mag das gesamte Spiel wirklich nur wie ein DLC wirken. Aber es ist einfach nicht rund das Ding..

Maps fühlen sich alle gleich an, es ist nichts neues irgendwo. Alles ist einfach.. wie beim Vorgänger

Im Sale vielleicht kaufen, aber aktuell kurz nach Release absoluter Schlag ins Gesicht für alle Fans

I really enjoy the 3D Version of Papers Please.
Jokes aside, this is definetly a game worth giving a try. It's similiar to Papers Please but adds a whole new dimension with the "Open-World" and some upgradable elements.

What's already great:
- The random events that occur (and I dont mean story missions /calls)
- Finding contraband is very rewarding, just like finding a discrepancy in the documents
- Beeing abled to upgrade your staff, your border station and upgrade to better weapons / tools is cool
- I like the story elements and different choices one can make in his / her playthrough
- Great atmosphere (it does a great job at giving you the feeling like you are actually working in an communist country)
- Car variations are decent


What needs to be improved:
- WAY TOO MANY ATTACKS IN THE OPEN WORLD !! (You literally have to stop every 200m - 400m to defend yourself
Aspecially in the early stages of the game this is really frustrating. Your car might explode or take much damage which
results in a huge waste of time. + The fights get quiet repetitive after 4-5 times.
- Animations should be improved (handcuff animation, reload / shooting animation ....)
- Gun sounds / overall sounds are quiet horrible (shooting, car engines, "damage" sound ...)

Overall:
I would recommend this game to anyone who ever played Papers Please or is in any way or form familiar with it's concept. But even for people with up to no experience in such games at all. The game does a great job at giving you instructions on what to look out for, what to check and what to keep in mind. In my POV Papers Please is much more difficult than this game because this game doesn't put the player in a very difficult financial situation, atleast in my playtime I yet haven't been close to any form of bankcruptcy (which results in a less likelihood of taking some bribe )
7.8 / 10 for me.
