Holy ♥♥♥♥ what a game, damn near perfect. The final act is genuinely one of the tensest and most engaging gaming experiences I've ever had.

last area was so bad I quit back when i played in 2019, now its 2022 and i cleared it and the penultimate boss ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks and the final boss is ok. for the price the game is damn short

At the sale price of £25, this game was a phenomenal purchase. While not quite bug free, it's more on the level of some visual glitches now and then instead of crashing or softlocks.

The gameplay is solid if a little on the easy side, the missions suffer from too many walking sections, but everything is so well performed and written that you can easily just get sucked in.

An ok core idea burdened with literally everything else. The movement controls are abysmal and you will constantly get stuck or slowed by flat ground or sometimes accelerated to mach 10 who knows. The writing is boring and clearly comes from a mix of "I wish we were Portal" and believing it has something important to say. Many of the rooms end up being find the object puzzles as what can be interacted with has a lot of inconsistency.

Basically the devs just had a cool idea for a puzzle game then somehow forgot they needed to make a good game.

A unique VR experience to say the least, priced very reasonably for what it is.

Should've been available on release for £1 if they really wanted to cheese the ratings system, such a fundamental feature being delayed so long is just sad.

A game so good I bought it again just so I can play it on my phone.

I couldn't decide whether to go positive or negative here. In it's current state the game is unfinished and runs into some pacing problems, a shoddy road system and certain elements of the game that just feel a little poorly thought out such as pollution only seemingly being mitigated by parks and water only being able to be cleaned up and filled through a god power. Ultimately I had fun however despite the flaws of the game and I just hope that by the end of EA it's all sorted, however it's a bit frustrating the amount of problems in this game that it feels like you have no buildings that can sort it.

Stride flies out of early access with a full 1 hour or so worth of time trials, a barely functional multiplier with a full TWO GAMEMODES, a repetitive endless mode and no single player campaign or levels to speak of. Furthermore the stability of the game has decreased significantly with this update. The gameplay is mostly solid with some jank I really expected to get fixed by the time they left early access but the content is just lacking.

As someone who cares more about discovering new things and likes the satisfaction of unlocks in slay the spire but was sad about only having four characters, this is just what I wanted.
