The story is awful. So go into this game knowing the quirkiness of the older games (or with an open mind).

This game is gorgeous, beautiful atmosphere and just amazing design work which is what drew me into buying this game in the first place. Combat-wise, it's alright. It's fun, energetic, and is what you'd expect for a hack and slash genre, but be prepared to have to change from blue to red frequently as you defeat an abundance of different types of enemies.

All n' all, have fun, yo.

Stressful yet an incredible cute experience for gamers who seek a challenge. Very much worth is small price tag, and recommended for all you speed runners out there~!
