This is one of those games I wish I could give a thumbs sideways. its a classic that defined a genre but i feel like its lacking in some areas. The first being it seems to want your attention but its not that effective with it such as the magic game needing to be clicked but the more spells you cast the less mana regen you have. another thing is that if you leave this open in the background it destroys your steam recommendations where all you get are idle games. If your looking for an idle game id recommend NGU idle its free on steam and i felt like i was making better progress on that with more payoff and it starts with the ability to earn things while thee game is closed while CC you have to earn it later down the line. I have heard they are adding a dungeon crawler minigame so when that comes out I will update my review

I'll be honest when the creator (boon) put a post on reddit showing off the spider leg mechanics I thought it looked ok but I've grown tired of rougelikes from overplaying them and this one doesn't look like it brings anything to the table. skip to about 4 months later I'm super bored and while browsing steam i see this game and say why not. this game is play how I wanted enter the gungeon to be, more focused on upgrading your gun while still getting exited to find a new one. The main reason I'm writing this review is because you can feel the love put into this game not enough games are put out for as a passion project. Little details that have no impact on gameplay such as that you can hug the shopkeeper or some items are desperately begging to be picked up give this game a feeling that its made for both the creators enjoyment and your own.


The game as I've mentioned is similar to enter the gungeon with its dodge to pass through bullets and unlimited ammo style but with extra mechanics all around such as using bombs you find to dig to chests or the variety of upgrades you find.
after all the enemies are cleared on a floor and you're ready to go you are presented with 3 billboards of what could be next such as a gem - hearts 4 bombs- caution tape. Each completed floor awards xp and when you lvl up you get 1 of 3 perks, beating bosses and rarely in chests you can also find perks

ok now im bored of writing this review and want to get back to playing just note the best thing you can look for in a game is a dev who would update and enjoy the game if he was the only one who played it and boon is that guy

This game is a hidden gem. if you have a good friend this is a great game to play with them, it's simple and a good team building activity.

This game sucked me in and I never want to leave. The community loves it and so do the devs (you can be matched with them in games), with constant updates and helpful players you'll feel welcome right away. Some people say it's pay to win which is unbelievabley far from the truth the economy is thriving and I've earned about 3000 platinum (premium currency) and I only spent 5$. If you have time to burn this game is just for you.

If you like FTL, Starbound or any space game but wanted a more team based game this is for you. PULSAR mixes team tactics with open world exploration. While it is in early beta the devs are hard at work improving this game that stands out as it is. The community is also amazing in the time I have played I have encounterd one troll, you don't need a group of freinds to play this (although that would be great) because everyone is welcoming and suportive of new players unlike some games

I would give this game 7.5 power removed from o2 out of 10 units to fuel the thrusters.

I have a long history of games from the fps genres to puzzle solvers but I can say without a doubt this game is the best game i have everplayed(so far). From the cast of lovable characters to the unique battle systems this game offers a enjoyable experience throughout the whole game. at no point during this game I thought anything negitive. The story is heartwarming and heartbrakeing at the same time. the only real con I can think of is that it is only partly replayable and
that each play through is slighly short. This game is always on sale because it is worth much more then $10 usd.


Buy this game you will only regret it if you dont have strong emotions towards anything because this game make you feel a whole lot of things.

Edit: When you die and go to heaven you play this game, get hit with a rock and forget the story, and do it all over again and again
If you have the money to get this game you have no excuse not to buy it.

i love this game but i simply cant play it with the lag if you have a slow computer dont buy it but if you have a fast one it will be realy fun on the only level i can play because of the lag its realy fun the devs are working on the lag when they fix is theres no reason not to buy it
