Wow. I'm super impressed with how accurately this game reminds me of how terrible I am at golf. I have a natural fade that tends to bite me in the ass and oh yeah, it's there. I can hit solid irons and that's pretty much on par, then I 3 putt for a double bogey or worse. This game demonstrates all of my short comings in frightening realism. I've played 18 holes twice, both a little rushed as I had other things to do, but this is an undeniably impressive experience so far. It's super satisfying to finally hit a decent drive or sink a long putt, just like the rare occasions I do so IRL. I also get to beat the %$# out of the bag and throw my clubs after I shank a shot just like IRL too.

If you have any interest in the game of golf, you have to at least give it a whirl. It's not the real thing, but it's a heck of a lot closer than I ever expected it to be, even in EA.

The one gripe is the performance. I have a beefy system with a core i7, 16gb ram, and a gtx1080 and can't bump up from the lowest settings without stutter. When it comes to graphics it's closer to Euro Truck Simulator than Elite Dangerous so its a tad frustrating to have such performance issues but it's so damn fun to play it's easy to look passed it. Excuse me while I go hit another 119.

There are a lot of mixed feelings about the developer of this one, but honestly, you have to give this a go. If you skip it, you're missing out.

This is a base defense game. You get some soldiers, some stations for the solidiers, and some buildings for a medic and engineer. Use what is provided to defend your base for as long as possible. The trick here is you are a god overlooking little soliders....until you select one and take his perspective and Rambo the s*&% out of a wave of baddies. There's a little more to it but that is the basic idea.

The trick is managing your assets, while also jumping in to fight as one of them to defend HQ which becomes a game of cat and mouse until your ultimate demise. The longer you last, the more points you get. It's you against the world as there is just one global score board with scores for each map at this point in development.

I love the nades and reloading mechanic. It's still a little buggy at times but ripping that clip out, reaching back for another, slamming it in, and tearing through the baddies is so much fun. By the time I am done with a round, my heart is racing, I'm sweating profusely, and I have massive rug burns from dropping behind cover. It's an absolute blast to play, and is priced just right for the content you get in my opinion. Looking forward to further development, but even if nothing more comes of this, I'm satisfied with what I received for the price of admission.

What in the actual ♥♥♥♥ just happened?

I am flat out cheap when it comes to most PC games. There are only a handful that I am willing to pay full price for and even fewer that I will crack out a $20 spot for since they typically drop in price so quickly. Considering we all knew the length by now, I am thoroughly satisfied with this one at the price paid. This is $5 extremely well spent when it goes on sale. I found the story very entertaining. I started it late, and couldn't do it one playthrough but leaving it left me dying to get back to it. The voice acting and ambience were excellent. Avoid the spoilers, you want to play this one uninfluenced if possible. If you find it cheap, check it out. I will say that after playing this, I would be more apt to pay a little more for their next offering if its a similar genre.
