Surprisingly & immensely good! - Turn off the in game music, throw on your spotify library on shuffle, and just relax. The amount of control options you have (wheel, pedals, keyboard and mouse, controllers) really help to drive home the relaxing aspect. I don't even remotely have an interest in trucking but I find myself coming back to it constantly. Only complaint is that the DLC doesn't go on sale often. Will definitely grab the DLC and Euro Truck Simulator 2 when they next go on sale. Absolutely recommend.

Very fun but weak killer, forget about the little survivors' feelings and play how you want to play (just don't tunnel), this is coming from a survivor main.

Nice looking survivor that I rarely see in my games, which is sad.

Fun to use and sometimes even powerful perks on both sides. (Discordance, Distortion)

Honestly underrated DLC, grab it on sale.

A significant improvement, mechanically, from the original.

While the graphics are barely an upgrade, this is a tough accomplishment, considering that the original game was already outstanding graphically due to its art style.

The real improvements lie in the addition of a mini-map, making the game much more fun as you don't have to pull up the map nearly as much. Another improvement is the ability to mark inventory items as trash or to lock them, allowing you to sell them easily. Also added was the golden chest from Borderlands 2, so you can acquire powerful gear if you have been unlucky from your finds.

The main reason why I would recommend this game over the second is that you gain xp and levels much faster, one of the complaints I had about 2 was that it took a very long time between levels, especially as you got further into the game.

A few complaints are that the golden chest is kinda overpowered. I held on to a shotgun I got from the chest for well over 10 levels before getting even a slight upgrade. This wouldn't be an issue if the keys were hard to acquire, but if you've played Borderlands 2 or the Pre-Sequel, (so very, very likely) you get a whole 75 added straight to your game. Also, apparently the matchmaking is clapped, but I haven't tried co-op so I can't confirm this. Though when I did search for a game on the day of release, I couldn't find any results, which seemed odd. On the Borderlands twitter page, they did say they are looking into the issue.

I would have liked to have seen something like Claptrap's Secret Stash from the second game as you can acquire many nice-looking class mods but you aren't the right class and have to have a friend hold onto your items to transfer them over.

Overall I would highly recommend this game and is quite unique and is a breath of fresh air from many playthroughs of Borderlands 2.

This game is outstanding.

I never loved the first game too much, the art and music was outstanding but it felt exhausting after about 20 minutes. I don't even like roguelike games.

But, after revisting the original, and witnessing one of the most friendly and hilarious social media accounts for anything, I picked the game up on the day of release.

The game is simply incredible. It's relaxed and simply has you walk from floor to floor, picking up ship pieces along the way. It's full of charm and the soundtrack is even better than the original.

The co-op works fantastic, even online, being able to play with others in other countries with little lag. What makes it even better is that you can simulate split screen couch co-op while online, being able to see where everyone is and what they're doing, even if they're on different floors.

The game isn't perfect though. My only major complaint is that on keyboard, the controls are terrible. The keys don't even match up with what is in the manual, and even worse, you can't even rebind them. My only other minor complaint is the reliance on RNG. Going floor after floor without any ship pieces, forcing me to use all of my good presents and forcing me to face the hellish floors of 20+. Could be I'm just bad, but getting a game over at floor 23 when the run was otherwise going well as a result of unlucky RNG isn't fun at all.

Ignoring the flaws above, this game is nearly perfect. I'd recommend it, but if you have a friend willing to play it with you to the end (off or online) I'd jump it up to an instabuy.

A pretty mediocre pack, but still insanely fun with 4 or more people.

YDKJ: At first I didn't like this game because I wasn't a huge fan of the new art style. I liked the idea of it being set in a very corporate streaming service, but the changed art style didn't really sit with me. My opinions soon changed when I realised that it is probably the best YDKJ game to date.

Mad Verse City: My friends LOVE this game. It's a simple rap battle game but with text-to-speech robots. If you have an odd number of players, Gene from Party Pack 4's Survive The Internet joins the battle with some insanely funny auto-generated raps. Even if you aren't that much of a creative person you can enjoy this game as it completes half of the raps for you, only asking for a word, then a line that rhymes with it. Very fun game.

Split The Room: I quite enjoy this game. You create hypothetical questions for the other players in the room, hoping it makes a divide between the decisions they make. It also has a very attractive art style. My friends don't enjoy this one very much, which is sad, but I can live with it.

Patently Stupid: Very well made and funny game, but I don't enjoy it too much. I've only played this one once but the time I had was quite good. It's my fault as I have no creativity, so ignore what I say and play it. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.

Zeeple Dome: Ehh, no. It's a nice change of pace considering it's not a turn-based typing/whatever game, and is instead an action game, but this isn't very fun and is actually confusing. There's not even any audience settings for it. At least you can play it one player like YDKJ, but why are you playing "The Jackbox PARTY Pack" alone?

Overall, it's quite a good pack with some innovative yet fun games. Party Pack 3 and 4 will always be personal favourites of mine, but give it enough time and I could see this becoming a new favourite. I nominated it for "Most fun with a machine" for the steam awards, because of Mad Verse City.
