The game is awesome it's like the movies American Ninja, Predator, Escape from New York, and The Octagon all in one. Now some people get mad at the fact that you have to play this game through Uplay rather than just only through steam. That's not really a big deal considering most Ubisoft games are through Uplay now days, especially the good ones. Also iv'e heard complaints about the map looking the same everywhere you go, But keep in in mind that's just because that's the theme of the island it's all similar but still different. In my opinion geography. Now this game really isn't at all like Far cry 3 mainly because it's a Completely different game in it's self lol. So don't Expect Vas to be in it. Now if you liked the 80s decade or any of the far cry games then this is a must own. Many nostalgic references are made in this game making it even kooler. You are an american hero who's half man half machine killing dragons with lazers for cripe sake So purchase this game NOW PEOPLE 12/10

This game came out in 2001 around the same time i was in 1st grade. I remember it being the greatest game as a kid, id come home everyday and play it and even have Lan party's for it from time to time. The game has a great story line/campaign and super fun 3rd person multiplayer slasher with TDM modes etc. much like Quake or Unreal Tournament. The maps are sweet, there's so many of them and you can MOD the ♥♥♥♥ out of them. So go play it 10/10
