Pacing of the game is good, perfect for casual players and serious players alike. Replayability is a bit lacking though, after your first full playthrough it can be hard and tedious to start a new game, but it can probably be done after waiting a few weeks before coming back.

Still recommended though.

After playing through Closed Beta via launcher, hundreds of hours on the now closed MYCOM server (Old Steam Listing), and now on Frontier (Better for me since I live in Asia anyways), I keep coming back to the game for some reason, there's no other game I can think of that plays quite like it. The gameplay loop is fun, just wish the devs know what they're doing with the game because it's glaringly obvious that they kept changing ideas over the years and now it's quite a hot mess. I still recommend it, as a returning player that restarted on a new character, the new systems actually allow you to be able to keep up with higher level players to some extent and they give plenty of bonuses to help with the grind. Still very grindy though.

This game hit a niche. It's a war strategy game that is neither too complex nor too simple. Just right for a fun, casual time, while having enough depth for more serious playthroughs. Don't expect HOI4 depth.

It's Overwatch. It's fun. Don't mind the politics. Season 10 will unlock all heroes for everyone. Just play the game. It's still the same, fun game (Other than the 5v5 part) with new content and heroes.

More casual in terms of management which is good. More on macro than micromanagement.

Highly recommended for fans of management and tycoon games. It's built well and can provide hours and hours of fun and replayability. Don't be discouraged by the negative reviews.

TBH though a few content updates would be highly appreciated, but keep up the good work devs, thanks for focusing on the macromanagement tycoon genre. We don't see enough of these games these days with this level of quality. Simple and Fun.

Don't believe the naysayers. This game is great in the current state it's in. It's an indie management game and works amazingly well, you can spend hundreds of hours into it. People just seem to always expect AAA quality nowadays based on the reviews here.

Anyways, it's fun if you like tycoon and management. Thank you for building this gem.

Craving a horde game with enough things to do to keep things interesting during even very long games? Buy it.

A must have. It's obvious that the devs really put as much as they can before Early Access with the features and details they put in.
Does it need more work? Of course. But the game is already fun and the features that are there are well polished. I haven't even encountered bugs so far, which is rare for indie early access titles.

This is one of the most promising Early Access games right now with a ton of potential. Can't wait to see how this goes.

Definitely worth every penny. Especially if you are a martial arts fan.
