Großartiges Spiel mit kleinen Schwächen – Feedback/Bugreport nach 12 Stunden Spielzeit

Zu meiner Erfahrung:

Nach rund 12 Stunden Spielzeit und dem Freischalten aller Könige kann ich sagen: Dieses Spiel hat mich wirklich begeistert! Besonders der König des Fortschritts hat es mir angetan – ich habe einen Build gefunden, mit dem man praktisch nicht mehr verlieren kann. Aktuell bin ich bei Jahr 298, und die Gegner haben absolut keine Chance mehr. Die strategischen Möglichkeiten sind tiefgehend und motivierend, weiterzuspielen.

Zum Spiel/Bugs:

Ab einem gewissen Jahr und bei aktivierter 3-facher Spielgeschwindigkeit bewegen sich die Gegner schneller, als die Türme reagieren können. Das führt dazu, dass man scheinbar "instant" verliert, bevor die Verteidigung überhaupt feuert. Wenn man in der nächsten Runde wieder auf 1x Geschwindigkeit zurückstellt, sieht man, dass die Gegner eigentlich keine Bedrohung darstellen und direkt eliminiert werden. Hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden, entweder durch eine bessere Synchronisierung der Geschwindigkeit oder einen fix für die Turm-Logik.

Ein weiterer Bug: Je länger man spielt, desto röter wird der Bildschirm. Nach langer Spielzeit war bei mir alles so rot eingefärbt, dass ich kaum noch etwas lesen konnte. Nach einem Neustart des Spiels war der Effekt zwar weg – trotzdem wäre es schön, wenn dieser Farbverlauf begrenzt oder ganz entfernt wird.

Auch zur deutschen Übersetzung gibt es ein paar Anmerkungen: Teilweise sind Begriffe falsch übersetzt oder irreführend – besonders bei Türmen und Gebäuden ist nicht immer klar, welche Effekte was genau bewirken. Außerdem fehlen gelegentlich wichtige Informationen vor dem Start einer Schlacht: Beispielsweise levelt der Wald bestimmte Türme wie die Konverter mit – das wird aber erst ersichtlich, wenn man sich die Statistiken der Türme während des Spiels anschaut. Diese Effekte sollten vorher sichtbar oder zumindest besser erklärt werden.

Mein Fazit:

Trotz dieser kleinen Mängel: Das Spiel ist großartig und macht richtig Spaß! Bitte macht weiter so – mit ein wenig Feinschliff wird hier ein echtes Strategie-Meisterwerk draus.

Game looks amazing. 2-3 Crashes when loading a new cell (typical behavior with this engine, can be avoided by disabling autosave on load), nothing I can't handle, people are such crybabies nowadays.

Native UI scaling and some more HUD Options would be nice, but there is already a Mod for that.

Charakter Creator is great, exactly what I expected, just a darker option for the Hair would be nice.

NPCs are looking awsome, only thing I would've to criticise is that they are too overexpressive, maybe reducing mouth movement by 50% would feel more immersive.

Otherwise an amazing experience so far, really feeling at home when playing this game again.

Robin Hood "This is my Land" like, with fun Basebuilding. Would like to see improved Combat Animations / more agressive AI, more serious Voiceacting / Dialogue. And maybe the possibility to mark Stuff on the Map with costum Map Markers.

+ I know its not relased yet but i got some anoying stuttering / dips running a r7 5800x3D, 32 GB Ram and a rx6800XT while wandering the forest.
