Game-play is separated between story and grinding. The grinding has to be done completely separate outside of the context of the story. In a single player game. And the story is OK, it doesn't particularly become compelling to me at any point and kinda just feels like a Ubisoft story; a ton of cool ideas but never actually taken with depth or nuance. Now I'm of the belief that playing video games isn't a waste of time, cause you know, like a book or series you're engaged, thinking, and enjoying it. But the systems in this game feel like they were specifically made for me to spend more time on the game rather than being in service of enjoying the story or world.
