This is a hoard survival game with automatic attacking. I would compare it to vampire survivors. What sets it apart however is that you can harvest materials such as wood, stone or cactus and use it to build things back at your base when you are not out fighting. You can use the materials to either make armor or fix houses that belong to characters that you have yet to unlock.

I found the first level really good and decent for learning how the game works, but the second level really scales up the difficulty with a lot of new mechanics that really throw you through a loop. I think the difficulty gets drastically harder too quickly between the first level and the second one. That being said I haven't given up on the game just yet.

Rating: 8/10 The game has a fun sort of Vampire Survivors feel to it with a mild amount of crafting tossed in.
The level difficulty scaling seems a bit steep. Level 1 was pretty straight forward and went smoothly, but level 2 has been a bit rocky.

This game has aspects of GTA while playing as a cop on the police force. It has a bit of a story to it that I found fun to follow. It was also longer than I had expected which was nice. Being an achievement lover I still have a few side objectives to complete such as taking all of the jumps, finding all of the specialty cars, coming in first in the rest of the races and time trials.

You can be a beat cop and just walk the street looking for crimes to crack down on, or you can patrol in your car(s). There is a skill system that lets you become a bit better at running fleeing suspects off the road. Some kills give you more health or more stamina so you can run for longer. You can unlock new guns as you go, and you fight plenty of interesting characters. Was it worth the price tag. I think so. I think this game was quite fun and I can see myself playing it some more even after having beaten it.

Rating: 9/10 I think a more true to form 3rd person view would make this game a little better but the game is fantastic. It has a few small things that could be touched up on, but over all I like it.

This game turned out to be a lot better than I had expected.
This is a survival crafting game that has you trapped in a facility with alien creatures. You have to eat, use the bathroom, sleep and drink water/coffee to survive. Pickup up items can give you the potential to learn new blueprints, once you have blueprints you can experiment with the potential things that could be used to create the blueprint object to figure out the right schematic to craft it.

Through crafting and exploring, along with leveling up you gain the strength, experience, and tools to get to new areas of the facility. Through exploration you find a lot of new objects and quests from injured facility staff members.

Rating 7/10 I docked this game a few points because it's not a game that I think I'm going to get a ton of play out of, but most of all the price is steep for what it is. I bought it on sale for 26 dollars Canadian and that seems pricey to me. The game is good though.

It plays and feels like Oblivion. The graphics are better.

For anyone who has been living under a rock, this is a remake of the fourth Elder Scrolls game. An open world medieval adventure that has you facing strange creatures, gods and people along the way. Oblivion Gates open up releasing evil upon the land and it is your job to go into them and kill the evil beings within to close them all one by one. It is your job to save the day. So what are you waiting for? Go start your journey!

Rating: 10/10 It's a remake of a classic game with better graphics. I think not selling it for 80 or 90 dollars was fairly decent of them but seeing as how it's a remake and not a new title i do feel the price should be a little lower than what it currently is.

A fantasy writer and a science fiction writer get trapped in each other's stories and have to help one other find a way out. This game by the creators of It Takes Two is quite a lot better than it's predecessor.

I'm not a huge fan of two player co-op games of this style usually but this game has some good elements that really piqued my arcade gamer interests. There are several side scrolling parts, and boss fights that feel very arcade like in nature.

This game uses a lot of different styles to keep game play fun at all times. In some areas you might be riding hover bikes through a utopean city, while in other areas you are running and gunning, shooting holes into force fields with colored guns that only interact with your own color. I had flashbacks of games like, Wave Race, Portal, F-Zero, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros, Metroid, Zelda, and I think this is on purpose to capture an essence of nostalgia in the players. It is very well done.

This game is a bit short but it's still under development. The devs plan to add more content as time goes on. You play as a wizard at a wizard school and you can find text books that teach you new spells as you go. You can learn up to a total of 5 spells, each one making you a little more powerful. The point of the game is to unlock a large door in the cellar that has six different shaped nodes in it. You must scour every corner of the school, learn new spells to gain access to new areas, and find the shaped gems you need to unlock and discover what's beyond the door.

Rating: 7/10 This game is decent it needs a lot more content in my opinion. I feel like it has a lot going for it but for the moment it seems alright.

This Gothic remake looks pretty good so far. It really garners the feel of Gothic 1, with it's environment and characters, and the music also really fits well.

As a fan of Gothic, and someone who has played all of the Gothic games including Spellbound's horrible atrocity which we don't talk about; I feel this game really hits the mark.

Yes there are some small things to work on, but over all it feels right. There are familiar characters, New dialogues, and the same familiar world from Gothic 1 revamped.

The world has been improved upon yet all of the key landmarks are still there right where you would expect them to be. The overall story is similar, but new dialogues have created a fresh new experience. Although there is new dialogue, the characters also still have their same demeanor as they did in the original game. Which is good to see as well.

I would have liked to see a combat style similar to the one in the original games, but I get why that's not a thing. It's probably a bit outdated these days.

I did experience some small graphical bugs at first. The THQ logo on launch was a bit laggy and took a moment to slowly skip by. Additionally when I first got into the game it seemed to have some screen tears, but as I played into it they went away, or maybe I stopped noticing them. One or the other.

Over all the game has a lot of potential in my opinion, and I have a good feeling about it. A few things need touching up but yes I will be buying this when it comes out.

Rating: 8/10 Obviously it's not a finished product so it has a bit of room for improvement, but over all the game is good. Add it to your wishlist!

I bought this game on sale for 84 cents. It has a very retro feel to it.
You collect money while moving right or left down 4 lanes on a very retro looking road while dodging barricades and listening to synthwave music. Eventually when the song ends the level is over, and you get to keep the money you leave the level with. You can use money to buy new cars or new levels. The new cars can maneuver better, and the new tracks are just as retro in design as the first. This game might be a little more replayable if there were some achievements to earn along the way. Currently it plays very much like an old atari game, and there is nothing wrong with that. I think this game definitely needs some kind of progression system. Something that keeps the player achieving something along the way other than just racking up money.

Retail this game is going for 17 dollars (Canadian) and that is definitely not what this game is worth in my opinion. I'm sure this is probably a passion project and the dev probably spent some time making it look nice but for what it is I can't say it meets that price tag.

Imagine you are playing guitars in guitar hero and only one note comes up at a time. Instead of holding down that note on the fret board and strumming you are just driving a car right or left to hit the note instead. They are not synced with the music though, so It isn't quite the same as that. It's just money scattered haphazardly all over the street and you have to swerve right and left to try and get it all, and not hit any posts.

It looks like it gives you the option to insert your own songs into the game. I haven't tried it because I don't have any music files to try it with but the option was there.

Rating: 7/10 It's good if you need a simple time dump and you are not looking for a game that requires too much thought. It's the kind of game you might play while you are in a long phone call to occupy yourself in the meantime. (like when my mom calls me and talks my ear off for 3 hours) Additionally I don't see this being overly replayable. It comes off as the sort of game you try out, and you get the gist and then you can sort of move on from it.

This space shooter requires you to shoot all of the aliens before they make it to your ship and destroy it. You get 3 lives and once they are spent it's game over. This is a true arcade classic. Back in the day we would compete for high scores at the arcade Galaga and several other games.

Rating: 10/10 This is THE space shooter that really brought games like this to life.

This game takes me right back to my arcade days, playing pac-man. Eat all of the pellets and don't get caught by Inky Blinky Pinky and Clyde (The ghosts) in the process. f

Rating: 10/10 A true classic.
