One of my top 5 survival games! It's had its ups and downs over the years of development but im glad in the end it turned out to be a fantastic game!

I dont know why it took me so long to review this game, but it goes down as one of my favorite games of all time and im looking forward to the future of The Division!

Very fun game play

Cons -
Warping through floors and have to get back to where you were or get stuck in an area without grenades to get out.
Many weapons are pointless
De-sync issues in multiplayer


Now I'm not putting this down as a con because this will only impact a select few out there, but I am color blind. I had a very bad time in telling who was who A LOT of the time.

Overall the game was a lot of fun so long as you have friends to play with. Solo is really not how this game was intended to be played a full team of 4 is the perfect setup. I can see myself coming back to this game and playing just to kill some time, but to dedicate any amount of real time to it may be limited as it does get pretty repetitive.

Im giving it a thumbs up purely on the fact that it is quite fun and i did have a blast playing with my friends.

This game was the biggest lie i ahve ever been pulled into.

Here is a short list of things promised but not in the game.

-planetary physics
-ship classes with meaningful differentiation
-faction reputation with meaningful gameplay impact
-homogeneous resource availability
-asteroid landings
-space station and fleet destruction
-large fleets
-traveling freighters
-large scale battles the player can join
-in-atmosphere battles
-NPCs outside trading posts and other docks
-ringed planets
-sand planets
-flying between stars (as opposed to warping via the Galactic interface)
-complex creature behavior including environmental interaction
-rivers
-points of interest such as large structures and crashed freighters
-hacking locked doors
-radio chatter
-interaction with other players


That was before. Now you have all of those things and more!

I have logged 59 hours since th lauinch of next and i dont see myself stopping any time soon!

Been playing for 15 years. No stopping me now.
