I have no idea how this game is having such a comeback. It is still incredibly disappoinying, repetitive, and shallow.. I for one really enjoy the gunplay and the character building, but the complete shallowness of the world genuinely hurts. Theres so many genuinely shocking, unforgettable moments buried under miles and miles of repetition. The world itself is amazing but thhey do so little with all the themes of the game. As of right now, all it amounts to is a flashy shooter set in a very interesting, albeit shallow, world

A GREAT shooter buried beneath miles upon miles of shady as ♥♥♥♥ business practices and selfish deciisons. How people on this page can recommend this game is beyond me: even as a free game, it is desperately short and repetitive. 50 hours in I had already seen all the weapons this game has to offer: there exist around 3 models of weapon per weapon type. I sure hope you like 3 legendary assault rifles because you will be seeing them OVER AND OVER again, regardless of your current playliist. Any attempt at worldbuildng is thrown ouut the window as soon as the game starts: a LITERAL retread of D1. Your only sense of progression in thiis game will come out of higher numbers, and these hgher numbers come FROM THE SAME MISSIONS AND BOUNTIES over and oover and over again. This is not even mentioning the heinouus ♥♥♥♥ bungie has been on to even if theyre "now free of the evil arm of activison guise!" if you paid for the DLC you cant even access 90% of the content you ALREADY PAID FOR because a ♥♥♥♥ ton of content has been "vaulted", whiich means its basically gone. Tons of weapons have been deemed totally useless and wholly removed from the game. IF you're a new light lke me, youve basically miissed out on more than half the content you paid for. This impacts everything from armor to weapons to marks: the ONE LOOT CLASS wiith variety and more iinstances than 3 is exotics, and those are nigh-unobtainable without paying. If you dont have a season pass you cant even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill the champion enemies the game throws at you in troves iin higher levels. If you dont have a season pass you barely get exotiics and gear upgrades. The new classes are ridiculously overpowered in PVE and PVP. Hope you like paying! Oh, and by the way, the BAREBONES amount of armor that currently exists is mostly repaiinted... crucible, gambit and vanguard sets all shate THE SAME MODEL with slght variiations. Thiis coming from a game that has earned enough money to survive 4 years in.
This... game iis a looter-shooter without loot. It's a story-oriented experience (according to the page) which actively deletes its story and dlc... its a shooter empphasising variety and play your own way with ♥♥♥♥ ALL player skill customization and enemy variety... want to customize your character? Better head to the eververse! Better pay for the season pass!! This ♥♥♥♥ includes ONE shader pac (whiich by the way, is single use!) and ONE set of decorations (SINGLE. USE.). IIf you want to enjoy from a wealthy amount of customziation you HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY! The liight mote section of Eververse (The free part) is made up of around 10 iitems, cyclng each week, while the paid (silver) section offers a ridiiculous amount of shaders and decoratiions.
This game is in shambles. It is a disappointment and I can't believe I let myself pay for it. It's so fun but once the high starts waning you start to see this game for what it is: a despicable attempt at generating as much money as humanly possible with little interest for artiistiic iintegriity. If you can sincerely get behind that, go ahead and pay for it.
Ever since I jumped into this mess, iive only seen the eververse get the content players are so desperately starved for. You run through the same hoops OVER AND OVER AGAIN and at most you get your 1000th False Promise.
When I bought Borderlands 3, an event was going on that quite literally gave away Legendaries lie hot cakes. I still have a ridiculous stash of them hidden away, and after around 100 hours I still find weapons and weapon types i had NEVER SEEN BEFORE.
TL;DR Just buy borderlands 3
A disappointment in all its forms

Watching this game's bosses is like sitting down in a clear day to watch a fresh spring run by. I have never before seen such commitment to badassery as the one shown in Sekiro: Your character will brace and slide back when blocking heavy attacks, or skillfully twirl the blade around when parrying, this combined with the precise nature, incredibly satisfying feedback and just all around badass style of the combat system makes up for one beautiful, unmissable experience. I was slightly disappointed this game veers away from a lot of FS previous titles: you only have one weapon, one character, and a few set of skills. It took me a while to get used to everything new Sekiro brings to the table but I am so glad I did: Defeating this game's challenges is as immersive as it is challenging, but also as challenging as it is rewarding: everything from normal mobs to mini-bosses to bosses, there is just so much variety here, so many secrets to uncover, and so many enemies to violently decimate with flashy finisher animations that just work to amplify that amazing feeling of "I am a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ badass" you get when finally defeating that terrible boss.
This game is not for everyone, but if you've ever found yourself aching for an insanely rewarding, an immersive, experience, then Sekiro is an absolute must. Fromsoftware's team continually one-ups itself and I am so, so excited of seeing what they will bring us next.

Woefully addictive game that will make you feel so stupid for putting all your modern games aside for this old thing. So, so, so amazing, and if you have at all dabbled in the RTS genre, you owe it to yourself to download this game and try it out. Start with 3 citizens and no cities, end with a mighty empire that spans half the globe and pelts natives with nuclear warheads for fun. 11 out of 10, cant recommend this enough, buy it and play with me cause i have no friends

This game is an extremely beautiful fighting experience, it gets visceral and head to head, your entire arsenal is the one difference between death and life. Your opponent will try to read you and you will try to read him, and the dance of death begins. You lead them to walls to get top heavies, you start to learn to parry zones, you develop your own fighting style and use your own mixups. It has truly been one of the most engaging and rewarding experiences, and after 1300 hours, I can safely assure this is one of the most fresh, viscerally-engaging games out there.

Even after all of that, and religiously returning to the battlefield, I still find myself constantly getting frustrated at the game. Heroes who have everything, zones that come out faster than light, latency issues that make enemy attacks unreactable, still some disconnects, terrible balacing in the matchmaking and a salty community.

This game has been a ♥♥♥♥ storm ever since beta, but it's one i regret in no way taking part of. If there's any of you who are new to the game who picked it up during the free bracket, i highly recommend you stick to your guns and keep playing this game. Whatever hero you picked will only get more interesting the more you play it, the fights will fluctuate in quality but by god will it be worth it, because for every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ using glad's zone and spamming "wow!" in chat, you will find those 2-3s, those fights where you win and you feel the blood thick on your veins, the throbbing of your pulse as you tightly clutch the controller. Those encounters, where you can scarcely focus on anything but the fight, where you desperatly try to figure your opponent out to finally defeat him, where you end the fight with little less than 10 hp, where you lose but you still congratulate your opponent, share a merry farewell and each go your own way nicely.

That moment, where you finish a dominion game with twice, or maybe thrice, as many kills as death, where people congratulate your main's gameplay and style.

All of those moments, the visceral gameplay, the welcoming community, the stalwart devs, the beautiful graphics and the endless customization. All of that and more makes For Honor more than a worthwhile experience, and one of the most worthwhile addictions i've had in a long, long while (Other than heroin)

So if you find yourself at the doorstep of for honor, I bid you a most warm invitation. A welcome, yes, but also a warning. Because this game will never, EVER hold your hand, and it's only after you pass that warrior's test that you will become fit metal to soak in blood

But if even after you get battered and torn, you keep coming back, then I and mary others will be waiting. And I assure you you will find some of the nicest people and the tensest fights on the market.

It's been a long while since I've felt as alone and conflicted as I have with my Soma playthrough. Maybe I am too used to horror, but the game itself wasn't terrifying: it, however, did keep me on the edge of my seat and very happy with the multiple secrets and mini-game like puzzles. Soma, however, shines brilliant as a perfect example of just how artistic videogames can be: it arises questions all of us bury when we go to sleep. What does it truly mean to be human? What does it mean to live? What if we were to lose all we have and are? The characters exude and breath anguish, constantly trying to find something to truck on for. The ambience, story, sounds and characters make Soma a must have for anyone who enjoys putting oneself through extreme mental anguish. The choices I made weigh down upon me, the isolation and despair Simon felt felt like my own. I know that tomorrow, once the sun is out, i'll go outside and breathe in. Thanks for this amazing experience with gorgeous design, amazing sounds, complex storyline, hidden plots and poetic questions.
