the game runs amazingly, looks great, and is very fun, unlocked framerate and it does infact have 4k, it also has scaling, the hotas issue is just a bug bamco is aware of, review bombing helps nobody

Love monster hunter, i love this game, i plan to spend many hours on it, i dont reccomend you buy it.
The reason?
it runs like ass, this game is full force "runs fine on my machine" from its defense force, when you ask what kind of pc they use its almost always some kind of 6th to 8th generation intel i5 or i7 and either a 1070 or a 1080.
Any game will run fine with that kind of pc, me personally still have a pretty high end rig, but because i have an old i5 (one that still punches pretty high for being 6 years old) a 3570k clocked at 4.8ghz, which is a 0.1% processor, very very few 3570ks clock this high, and that is the games bottleneck, your cpu, and for no real reason, i can turn every physics related option off and the game still pegs my cpu to 100%. and the telling thing is that the game runs exactly the same at the highest settings as it does the lowest, my 1% lows on both the high and low preset are 18 fps, my average on both is 44.

And before anyone asks i have a 1070 clocked to 2125, and it never even clocks up that high when im playing, it stays are 1550@40% useage.

Dont buy this game unless you dont mind god awful preformance or think the average person games on a 8700k and a 1080ti.

The lead ability designer should find a new job, they have no idea how to make fun, interesting, unique abilities, most of (read all) of the abilities are carbon copies of something in another moba or arena game, those things would be fine by themself but the kicker is the games pace is slow, abilities cooldowns are far to long, match length is far to long, ability damage is far to low, auto attack damage is to low, attack speed is to low, hp is way to high, the differences between the heroes of each class (of which their are 5, 4 of them have 3 characters and 1 has 1, meaning the game only has 13 characters, however the difference between them is their trait, if you own all the items all characters of a class can have the exactly same skills and passives sans ult and trait.

All in all the game feels like slapping the enemy with a wet noodle, this coupled with many minor things like the awful, uninformative UI, the pointless "level up" button when you reach a new level (pressing the button mearly makes you the new level IE pressing is makes you go from 1>2 when you level up) that serves no purpose as abilities are level gated and have no levels themselves if you just automatically leveled up it would achive the same result, the game reeks of changed design goals a million times over.

Come back in a year if the game isnt dead by then and maybe it might be good if they make the gameplay less god awful.

Until then go play battleright or warlocks or something not garbage.
