It's... fine. I don't play this often, but it's kinda relaxing. The biggest problem is that you have to launch the game to update it, instead of updating it the same way every other game on steam does. This means that my actual play time is about 10% of that shown in my stats. Case in point, I planned to have a look at it today so I launched it last night to download the 60GB update. Yeesh.

But for what it is trying to achieve, it does it well. There's a variety of planes to fly, and the world map is well executed. It's got what you can reasonably expect from a game like this, and was the sort of experience I was thinking the game would become when playing this at a science centre back in the late 90s. Seeing my home city's airport rendered in game is nice, complete with its long journey to taxi to the runway. I wonder if Parafield Airport can be flown from as well... Hmm, I'll need to have a look.

I like the part where you kill Nazis. Especially the stealth kills.

I really like Ion Fury, and Aftershock is a fantastic expansion. The new ammo types and weapon change up the dynamics of fights somewhat, and there's some excellent level design. The reminders of the volcano throughout was well done. If I were to criticise, the vehicle section was a tad too long, though it did help that it was broken up with you needing to leave the vehicle to do stuff on foot. Kinda like the canals in HL2 (though IMO a bit more interesting).

Arrange Mode is a good addition, too. It looks like it took an outrageous amount of time to get done, but I'm liking it. I'm partway through a playthrough of arrange mode right now.

Fun Portal game, if you've played the others, you might as well give this one a go

I don't remember how I learned about the existence of this game, or why I put it on my wishlist. I'm glad I did.

It's difficult to really review this game without spoiling the experience of playing it. I went in pretty fresh with no real knowledge of what I was getting into, and honestly it's the best way to play it. I've unlocked one of four endings, and I look forward to finding out how to unlock the other three.

It's... weird, In a good way. It's rare nowadays for me to really feel like a gaming experience is fresh, charting ground that games don't really go for, and this game managed to do it. I like this.

It's Fable. I remember playing this on the OG XBox and it's the same game I remember. Plus the addons I didn't get the first time around. Resolution has been bumped up a bit but on the whole it's a solid port with few changes
