Now the real artist people bought the original game because of is long gone and it's all vandalized with art censorship because they have no interest in listening to the community that built them up.

Get a refund if you barely played it on Steam. Go play Melty Blood: Type Lumina with free DLC characters and editable colors or Street Fighter 6 with newly uncensored versions of old Street Fighter outfits that you can unlock just by playing. They've actively chosen to be worse than their competition.
