I first heard about this game at a panel at PAX East. I was deeply tickled by the concept and I knew Kitfox has great writing for their games, like Moon Hunters.

Having beaten it now, I'm still quite happy, though I have to say it's more of an "exactly what I expected" happy than an "above and beyond" happy. Which...might also be useful as a metaphor for some relationships?

Anyway, it's exactly what it says on the tin. Fight in dungeons. Date your weapons. And this is a good thing! It was a great time, and I'll probably return to get that Polyamorous achievement at some point (I'm no 100%er, but I do want to hear from everyone). I've heard that another weapon or two will be added in updates, and I would be really happy if there were other DLC eventually made as well, since I would love to experience more, but I do feel like right now it's easy to see just about everything in the game in 10 hours or so.

This game was fantastic! I loved the interface, the world, the pacing, and the way it started light and then got very intense. I'm also very happy to see that it supports multiple playthroughs well, though I really like how my first one has turned out.

More, please?

Fun and frantic. Works nicely on a couch with controllers. Probably more fun with four players than two, though two can still be entertained. Handling a giant cat head who makes you start to wander like a cat is tricky.
