I have used a lot of different engines and frameworks for app development and keep going back to AGK for its ease of programming and rapid testing across all platforms. There is something very satisfying about being able to code on Windows (or Mac) and then hit a button and see your creation immediately transmitted to all mobile devices that have the AGK player running. AGK has come a long way since the original version many years ago and includes a solid range of 2D and 3D features plus easy integration of ads, social, in-app purchases, achievements and so on. New programmers will appreciate the BASIC syntax, while advanced users will enjoy the versatile functionality and optional Tier 2 development tract via C++ that allows for greater expansion capabilities.

The most graphically gorgeous game I've experienced. Was a blast playing with a friend in 3D!

I have many fond memories of Gary's Mod (just wish the old demos I recorded were compatible with the later updates so I could play them back). Still a favorite!

I have really enjoyed using GameGuru and watching it evolve. It is relaxing to craft a new world and then play through it all within a coffee break. More experienced creators can toy around with the familiar scripting capabilities and slider controls to create more unique experiences, something that I'm just getting into now. I've also had fun playing against a friend on our own levels via the multiplayer component. Plenty of assets are provided to make really imaginative worlds.

Early Access Review
Finally a true homage to my favorite FPS games of all-time (especially Quakeworld and Quake 3). The graphics are stunning and controls perfect. Bunnyhopping, rocket jumping, plasma climbing, trick mode, race mode, FFA it's all here and keeps getting better!

If you like clicking randomly and watching the ball fly through like a bullet with no possibility of controlling power or any other aspect, then you may like this game until the novelty of things breaking wears off (about two minutes). The hole is five feet away? Click to putt and no matter what the ball flies at 200MPH across the entire map and back. No way to actually enjoy a game, and useless "power-ups" that are as confusing as the rest.
