Software: Steam is extremely disappointingly lacking in split-screen games that can be played on the link with two controllers. So far the ONLY game I've found that works for multiplayer on the Link is Oh Sir Insult Simulator. So many of these games support split screen on consoles and desktop, and yet cannot be run split-screen on the Link. This is a major shortcoming. Why would I want to play on my TV by myself, when I can just use my desktop and have access to everything else that I don't on my TV while I play?

Hardware: It "sleeps" too often. Once it does, it won't come back unless power is reset. I have to go dig it out from behind my TV and unplug and replug the power cable. It needs a power switch to turn off and on, or to at least default to never sleep. Also the 1080p limitation is rather annoying when I have a 55" 4k TV.

Early Access Review
Still plenty of bugs, but a great start so far. The UI alone is already leaps and bounds better than RCT3.

Guess there are a whole lot of masochists and/or trolls with nothing better to do out there given the thousand positive reviews.

I found it too tediously difficult to get any enjoyment out of.

Bonus point for working just as well on Linux as on Windows.

Besides the ridiculous asking price for what is apparently barely a DLC-length game that cuts you off in the middle of the story to try to make you spend even more on future DLC, performance is utter trash. An i7 5930k, 64 GB of RAM, all SSDs, and Radeon Fury X do not a low-end system make, yet loading times are horrid and FPS is all over the place.

The constant "tutorial" pop ups are extremely annoying, too. I said "Give Me Deus Ex". That implies I know what I'm doing. Stop interrupting my game every two minutes to tell me how to do something I've already been doing.

Refund requested.

I got this on sale for $20, and I don't think it was worth even that much with how much it pissed me off in just 45 minutes of playing.

When the "release" version crashes before it even launches with ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException, you know a dev team is incompetent.

Less than a quarter of the price of a movie ticket and far more entertaining than most these days.

This is way more "one more turn" (though it doesn't really have turns, so rather "one more month") than Civ ever was.
AIs seem fine except for "sectors". That one is utterly ineffective and detrimental to your empire. Mods to increase core system max solve that (Expanded Core Worlds is a good one). I like that the game will sometimes decide to obliterate your empire. ♥♥♥♥ happens; deal with it. There's always a bigger gorilla you just haven't met yet; you can't always win :)

A great demo of VR capabilities that I never would have thought of without playing this, but has very little entertainment value.
