After 90+ hours in game, the developer decided that I'm not worthy of playing their game anymore.
Patch 2.0 broke the game...
EDIT: Still works on SteamOS though
EDIT2: There was a patch for the patch today... and it did absolutely nothing!

Minesweeper and Solitaire have more customization options than this PoS.
This game is a perfect representation of the ongoing dumbification process of humankind.

Probably the best and the most addictive strategy/city building game I've played in ages. Pleasingly challenging at higher difficulties.

This is basically a remake of the same game from 2018. There is absolutely nothing new in the game, apart from streamlined track laying and signalling. If you own the first game, there's nothing here for you. Kalypso is just trying to steal your money.

Goblin and Coins II is an old-school, 2D pixel art platformer game, with nice, hand-drawn graphics, fluid animations and simple, yet responsive control system. The main character is unarmed, so the trick is to avoid enemies or squish them by jumping on them. The game features 25 levels, filled with various enemies and environmental obstacles, along few boss fights in between. There's also a bit of puzzle elements thrown in for good measure.

It's challenging, but not too hard and you can adjust the difficulty by allowing more continues when you lose all lives. However, the game is not over even if you have spent all your continues: you spawn in the Underworld and if you manage to escape it, you will be ressurected with additonal continues.

Goblin and Coins II is an unique nostalgia trip to the 8-bit era, but it could also be a perfect introduction into the world of video games for your kids.

Rather steep learning curve, but it is definitely worth the time. I disagree that it is just Northgard in Dune's clothing, the game is much more complex and, more importantly, every aspect of the game is duly playing its part in your efforts to achieve victory. Would like to see greater variety of units in future updates.
