This game is a ton of fun and I would recommend it to everyone who enjoys the first Deus Ex or any other immersive sims. This game is also a ton of fun playing with other people.

There are two things that I think need fixing in the game though to make it perfect. Torches, candles, and any other light sources which use fire gets very very annoying to die to. If you knock over a candle it's hard to realize that when you walk you will die soon after because you light on fire and there isn't much you can do beside hope you have a heal pot on you or enough biscuits to revive at a fountain.
The other main gripe I have is that it's extremely easy to accidentally trigger the end of the game.
If you go to the top of the castle which is not very difficult and then fall with a propeller hat or just do it quickly you can accidentally find the end zone which will finish the game whether you want to or not. It's also annoying because if you're just exploring the outside of the map it's the only place that looks like you're suppose to be there so it's very enticing. I have accidentally finished the game once this way and then had to redo all my progress to get the shapes and complete the game the normal way and once again this happened with a friend who did the same thing without realizing

If you're looking for a horror game I would skip this one. If you're looking for a game where you read a discord group chat including some cringe discord romance DMs this is the game.

I didn't hate this game but I think it takes a really good idea with how you see in the game and doesn't do any interesting with it at all. I think the idea of viewing through what an AI is telling you that you're looking at is quite interesting especially coupled with a certainty percentage so you might think there's a chance that what you think you're looking at isn't what you're looking at. Except it never really comes. If you have something that's a 23% certainty it doesn't matter if you look at it from all angles or get on top of it, it'll stay exactly the same. There are a few things that you could easily understand that it might not be what you think it is but they're all very minor and if they weren't in the game you wouldn't miss anything.

While I think the writing isn't bad, it's just not for me. It seems to be very much written by someone who uses discord way too much as all the characters come off that way including the corporate manger which makes him feel especially off at the end.

If you're looking for a game that does a very similar concept and is in similar length but has a lot more going for it try out Iron Lung.

Edit: Updating review after Buried Below update

Again I wish I could say I liked this update but there's not much here. I think that this update is however miles better than the original state of the game. This game doesn't feel extremely difficult to the point of being unplayable but now it suffers from the issue of just having no fun gameplay and a few minor annoyances. Fighting mobs feels kind of cool but it doesn't take long for you to realize that there really isn't any point to fighting any mobs besides the ones that hold the prisms. Farming mobs for blood would take way too long and the game incentivizes you to play fast because the difficulty ramps up the longer you stay in the game. So the current loop looks like: fight some mobs to get a few prisms, level up at a shrine and then extract, go back in fight a few more mobs to get some prisms, kill two bosses on the way and eventually kill the final boss. I know that seems reductive but you really don't get miss out on anything reading that instead of playing the game.

The bosses as they currently stand have zero complexity and are genuinely just HP bars that you have to whittle away over the span of 10-15 minutes. There is probably some part of me not being very level but I finished all the bosses with extra HP boosts so it wasn't something that I was eking by with these boss fights. I think the first two bosses aren't as terrible as the last. The big dragon which should be the highlight of the game has the same 3 moves (1 extra which it only does at the start) and spawns a few mobs which die in one hit but it has an extremely large health bar. I don't think I have played a more boring boss fight as you spend most of the time just waiting to break the shield so you can do some damage and then the shield fully regens again and you have to do the whole thing over and over.

I think even with this bad boss fight it wouldn't be a terrible game but all the small things in the rest of the game make it really really annoying to just play. There is a hoverboard which controls terribly and you'll spend the most time using it just to go from place to place in a map that is way too large for the POI on it. The bulk of your climbing or traversal in this game also feels like you're breaking the game. There is no climbing mechanic so most of the time you dash up a side of a mountain to get up until you realize that one cliff is just out of your dash range so you have to then go all the way around or find another cliff that you can just get up or if you're lucky there might be a jump pad that gets you one cliff higher. The hoverboard mechanic on water also feels so tedious as if you stop hoverboarding you drown in the water and it just brings you back to the last land you were on with no consequence, you don't lose health, you don't lose currency, nothing happens besides you having to hoverboard across again. The only thing you lose is time.

The weapons feels very similar and there's not really much interesting going on that made me want to try them all. There are 5 or 6 currencies in the game that all do different things that feel completely useless and anytime I collected one I had no idea what it would allow me to unlock.

This game still really feels like they wanted to make Hyper Light Drifting 3D but had no clue what the actual enjoyable part of the game was after they made it.
P.S. Parrying is still useless and dodging has zero downside
P.P.S 90% of the stuff from my previous review also stands barring the insane difficulty

------------------------------------------------------------

This game remains completely unfun. When it first came out I gave it a chance and played 6 hours but it feels like it's in a pre-alpha state. So much of this game is really rough around the edges. None of the gameplay feels fluid and all the inputs feel extremely delayed. This game really has to be the worst controlling game I've played when being very tight is extremely important as parrying and dashing at the exact right time is very crucial. Parrying itself is the most unfun experience. You can parry to recover 5-10 health at most and if you mess up the parry you stand to lose 25-60 health. There is also a cap on what you can actually recover when you parry making parrying useful for only a small window of time and then dashing is vastly superior. This game feels like they wanted to see if they could make it before figuring out what exactly makes the game fun because it's everything but that

I've got 151 hours on other launcher and I've gotta say this patch is probably the best one they ever made for this game. Give it a go

-------
Edit: this game has been ruined by the devs flip flopping nonstop and not making any meaningful changes. Do not give this one a go wait for arc raiders instead

This game feels severely undercooked. If you want a game where you have to plan things ahead of time and think about your choices Unrailed is a much better game. If you want a game where you have to deal with a bustling restaurant than Overcooked is your game.

Cons:
You can't place food on the ground and therefore struggle a lot to empty your kitchen if you get overcrowded. In Overcooked you can drop it but it slows your moment.

A lot of the upgrades in the game are not intuitive on what they actually do

Many of the times that you lose it feels like it was the game's fault and not your own

Playing with 4 people is not enjoyable as there are no larger restaurants to start with and you spend a lot of time slowly moving past each other

The animations of your characters and your friends are very choppy

Pros:
It installed quickly

This game is really enjoyable. I will say it definitely takes a certain kind of person to enjoy it. The biggest difficulty in this game is working the spatial part of your brain. The caves are very uncomfortable to navigate and traverse early one, but once you get used to having a rough map in your head (as well as understanding how to use the terrain scanner efficiently) this game has an endless amount of replayability. Rock and stone!

I started grinding at this game because a there was a free weekend and one of my friends beat us handily. After a month of playing alone every single day I crushed him. He has never played the game with me since.

CS:GO Review
This is by far the best FPS I have ever played!
It's easy to learn but hard to master.
