I played this game like two years ago and it lives rent free in my head to this day. If you have not played this game and do not know any spoilers for the game I encourage you to just play the game and experience it for yourself. I usually do not like turn based combat games or even RPG's in general but this game is just something else.

It is a hard game to pick up but once you get the hang of it and get better items it becomes very addicting and fun to grind out especially with friends, the bosses are unique and not just HP sponges and have counter play in some manner. I am not good at building but I have seen some really cool buildings. I like it more than minecraft. Play this game.

Cool fun game. Inventory management gets a little irritating but that is just part of the difficulty of the game I suppose and aligns with the Resident Evil franchise. I was a little disappointed that aside from a story telling aspect and other minor map changes and weapons, that both Claire and Leon basically have the same gameplay in their stories. After I finished Leon's story I wanted to play Claire's thinking that her story would have a different map and different story that aligns with Leon's in some sort of clever way but as I got into the final arc into the game I realized its basically almost the same thing which kinda discourages you from wanting to do both sides since its basically just the same puzzles and zombies with a few different weapons and such. Now that I am typing about this more its almost frustrating lol but it is what it is, basically if you're playing this game for the first time, pick which character you prefer because both of them basically do the same ♥♥♥♥. 7.5/10, the extra .5 because Claire Redfield is pretty

On launch day my friend gifted me this game, I thank him for that. Anyways, HuniePop 2: Double Date is a good game and I enjoy it, it takes the similar simple but elaborate gameplay of the first game and adds on to it in a way which makes it much more challenging than the first game. Although I do prefer the cast of the first game more so than I do than the cast of this one, the women in this game have very strange and complicated designs compared to the first game. When it comes to their personalities they are about as simple as it gets. The art style does see a major improvement from the first game, and you unlock the sexual photos more than you do in the first so if that's what you were looking for, then this game delivers on that department. There are people who call this game (or the first one) "Bejeweled with hentai" or something along those lines and I must say that I think when they say statements like that it does a lot of disservice to what these games truly have to offer. The first game offered that mix and match gameplay on top of the gift system, which encouraged players to take a loadout of certain gifts to make it easier to win and to keep in mind the traits that each girl likes and dislikes to maximize the amount of affection you could get on a date, HuniePop 2 takes these systems and adds on to it and on top of that adds even more gameplay elements, which I think makes it very different from games like Bejeweled or Candy Crush. The double date system forces the player to strategize and think carefully about how they consume their moves. On top of the fact each girl has their own favorable and unfavorable traits, this game adds what they call "baggage's" to each girl, which are debuffs that each girl gets as you play the game, for example one of the returning characters; Jessie, has a baggage called "depression" and every few turns she will lose sentiment, but that is just one of them she has two other baggage's and each girl has three that are randomly selected on each date. This system just adds on to the gameplay and difficulty of this game. There is also a stamina system on top of this. In conclusion, HuniePop 2 offers much more than the first game did when it comes to gameplay, with an improved art style that I am sure most players will enjoy to see. Purchase it if you like puzzle games and want to challenge yourself. Or hentai, I don't judge.

New updates made the game really bad, the physics used to be fun and random but now they are just boring. The punching (which is all you do in this game) feels like gentle slaps and its just overrall boring to watch and play. Updated this on the first day of summer sale 2018 to tell people that this game is sadly no longer worth it even with the discount.

Its alright. 8/10
