Too much fun to be had by yourself, a good crew and strong captain at the helm and you have a great adventure on your hands. The quests are well thought out and interesting, progressing and expanding the gameplay as you complete them. Thoroughly enjoyable, even for landlubbers.

Superb game with stunning visuals and gripping story lines in the episodes, and excellent expansions to the survival maps in turn. Survival mode is just as exciting as you pit your skills against vast open areas fighting nature at it's cruelest. Sound in itself is the best aspect of the game design with that aspect alone able to make you feel like you are inside the game.

Active devs and great scenery, when you have time to stop and smell the roses...

Good variety of enemies to battle as well as massive area to roam, with a ton of tools, weapons and equipment to craft or find.

With the regular updates this team is well on the way to having a terrific game at full release.

Updated Review Nov, 2019
Now approaching Alpha Launch, the Devs and supporters of Survive The Nights have put together a great game, almost getting everything from their concept videos in game and released. Always working on improving the game and adding things on a regular cycle everything shown in the videos are well on their way to be included. They respond well to feedback and accept constructive criticism making the effort to engage and include their community. A rarity in game developers of late.

So far, a job well done! Loving the RV, the additions to the towns and open areas between are great, just keep them chickens quiet, eh!

Past update (0.0.5) has set things off on a good track. Fixes to loot issues and correcting some unforeseen bugs after release only raises the Dev team's credibility and reliability, with a small team they have a plethora of communication avenues and ways of reporting issues and getting answers. A Discord, forum and online bug tracker to name a few.

Their Mods and the Devs themselves are doing their very best to help out with community questions, and seeing them in game from time to time for impromptu events and just interacting with the players is great. Well Done guys.

On to actual game play: Time will tell what this game will turn into, but at current it is a pretty big world/island, around 64 square km, of which I've seen, at least for a few seconds before dying horribly, each major town, and through exploring the world in general I found many interesting places and some really nice views. The world is visually nice and each town, even with similar buildings, always seem to be uniquely laid out, making them distinct and fun to run around in, while running away from zombies... ...You get to run a lot...

Aside from players, the main enemy is zombies (yes, another zombie game) but they have a AI behaviour that sets them apart from the run-of-the-mill zombies. During the day, you can side step and run circles around them, the typical slow amblers from certain movies. Then, at night, if they see you, (and they always will!) they will run at you and hunt you down, cowering behind doors or barricades, they will not stop.... and they tend to be in groups, so cowering behind doors and crying at night is okay, it's okay...

There is still a long road ahead for the Dev's, and they have promised a lot of new and interesting things into the future. I cannot wait for cars and vans to be in, along with a more fleshed out crafting table, home cooked meals and place of my own down by the beach, a shotgun trap behind every door.

Stay safe out there, and survive another night!

An excellent, realistic and very well put together battle simulator. The work this small team of Devs have done over the past year and a bit with updating game mechanics and added content put other larger game companies to shame, big time.

The helicopters are real-world and the exceptionally detailed, as are the maps. Looking forward to all the upcoming content and additions.

A must by for any military buffs or simulator enthusiast. Sometimes I enjoy starting a game just to fly around and tour the countryside.

Edit: Continued updates and added content, still coming up with new and exciting things, these Devs are amazing. Bravo Zulu

Pleasantly surprising title that suits my gaming style. Often not wishing to interact with 'people' online the single player option is welcome and not too much different to the main and pve server options, just removes other players. :)

Have to say that the community is also surprisingly good natured and mostly mature/intelligent. Have to stress "mostly" since there is issues on heavily populated pvp servers, with a minor factor on some pve servers, with spawn/team killing & general asshatery. Not seen more than a few instances of this personally though.

What I have found are plenty of players willing and happy to group in order to explore some of the more difficult and interesting areas, like bunkers and military bases, and so often do I find myself in a mixed Faction 'team' of Looters, Civilians and Traitors, all just wanting to play the game. Not kill on sight and destroy everything.

Graphically the game is nice, nothing too polished and I get the feel that was on purpose. It suits the game's premise of post-apocalypse Eastern Europe.

Early Access, self explanatory. Updates & optimisation to come. I expect that as long as the devs continue to updates and bug fix the game will continue to improve and set standards in the already over populated survival genre. They do engage the player base and have already seen updates since release to fix bugs.

Overall a solid 8/10 (love the up-armoured cargo truck!)

H2o has a dedicated and ambitious developer who is tirelessly working on fixing any errors and bugs that have arisen since launch.

What is H2o?: Waterworld Survival. Without Kevin Costner... (Sorry ladies ;-) ) It's your regular survival situation, with water, sharks and whales. Player vs Player (with support being added for PvE), base building, crafting and vehicles. You will need boats or aircraft to get around, a vital part of the game. Above or below the water, you have plenty to explore and discover. Watch out for flying sharks!

So why purchase H2o?: Support the developers so they can continue to grow and improve this gem of a game. Early Access is not the full game, and it will take time. If you wish to give the game a chance to reach its full potential you should support it now. Even if you don't play. Wait for closer to the full version if you are looking for a fully fledged working game. Jump in now if you want to assist in finding bugs and getting them fixed. It's only though your actions, as a player, that any problems can be found and fixes be found.

Some may think I'm bias, being part of the community team in the forums, but I've been part of the test group for some time prior to release and seen the struggle the developers have endured to get the game to release on Steam. They will need more help now that testing has turned the corner into the next phase, and with the great many avid supporters that have purchased the game I am very confident that all the issues with connections and anticheat woes will be sorted out in no time.

<Review updated November 2018 ready for Full Release>

UPDATE 1.0 coming in December 2018

Next update releasing in December will be Full Release, out of Early Access, and version 1.0. Expecting more features including a Dynamic World System, Farming & Horticulture, more Mutants, more Guns, more Map and more everything! Player Hosted Servers and modding in the wings plus all the recent work in optimising and bug fixing.

The apocalyptic future is bright! :miscreated:

-----Original Review:
Miscreated is a stand-out Early Access survival game, and a butt-load of fun! This is not a clone of other survival games, the team at Entrada have been working hard on making a unique game. There is still plenty to come yet, but the game play is visceral and realistic. Loot is scattered around the map in the open, and hidden around houses and buildings. AI encounters are random and player interaction is just as random. You can hide, run away, attack or strike up a conversation. Maybe trade, or demand payment... You'll survive longer in groups, but you can't always trust everyone, so keep your gun handy, and loaded.

Want to get a vehicle working? (aside from a bike <<you just jump on one of them and go!), you need to work with a team or hope no one steals your ride before you find all the parts to get it going. It is survival of the fittest after all. Work with a clan to create a base and help protect each other from other players and the AI mutants. (more variants and types of AI are still in the design process) This is not a Zombie-clone. The Mutants form part of the game back story, so if you want zombies, go back to one of the cloned games.

"...Hell, in the end AC made just about everything, AC Sportsdrinks, AC Icecream, AC Battlegear, even AC Happytabs. I miss those. AC even gave us our wonderful mutant problem..."...
