A very difficult tower defence game. you can move around the orbits of satellites which I thought would make it easier, but it really didn't. It just makes it incredibly difficult.

They certainly did a change up after the previous games. This time instead of massive C&C like base invasions, now you are given a squad to attack with. This is more tactical and you can't just re-build people to make it less of a concern when your main character dies. Instead they fall incapacitated, but can be revived, though you have to get someone to get back their men for those in squads. I had a lot of fun with this and it felt closer to Warhammer 40K than the previous games and you could be tactical by taking up buildings or hiding behind cover for protection. Definitely worth a buy.

Quite fun mechanics and nice animation, however it is a multiplayer game only and therefore doesn't have my attention, but I do love turn-based and loved playing the tutorial bit too.

This game gets really abusive with the cover tactics. So much so it gets really difficult even when you aren't that far into the game and have to keep changing tactics which is fun for a little while, but with the scoring system this is clearly a game that is made or 2 people and not 1.

Certainly a fun little game for a while. I was pulled in by the trailer and I admit it's very fun to just destroy these workers for senseless reason, however overtime it starts becoming a bore and you start wanting to just get the game over with. overall it is fun for a little while, but then it gets repetitive and the missions get boring.

It has a very interesting story to it and I do love the look of the sequel where they have improved on the gameplay. One thing that had driven me mad in the game was the difficulty spike and how you shake all around when attacked making it almost impossible to shoot them when the get close.

The story is set in Russia after the 3rd world war. So long after that no one remembers what the war was about, not if anyone else outside of the metro is even alive. Certain a lot of terror set in the dark as anything can come out after you and it could be me, but the gun firing doesn't seem to hit very well. That or they just shrug off my shotgun shells at time.

Edit: I plan to giving this game a much better attempt later and even stream it, uploading the videos to YouTube afterwards, but for the moment this is a game that's at the back of my mind, however, I have a huge backlog of other games to go through at the moment, but once some IRL stuff is out of the way and I have things set up, I'll be returning to give this a real good go or maybe even the remake which I also own.

Certainly a fun game that'll keep you entertained for hours. You are a dragon collecting treasure for your hoard. The aim is to get a certain amount (or more than everyone else) within the time limit. You can steal from carriages, burn down wheat, burn down mills, kidnap princesses to ransom or even destroy a wizard's tower to steal a immensely valuable gem. I'd certainly give it a go and it can be a lot of fun, though there is sadly not story to be had with this game.

More of the first, but with better graphics and somewhat stronger story. The controls are the same, but everything is far clearer and easier to make sense, but just like the first one, it suffered with a lack of a fast forward button.

I had hoped for a simulator of being stranded like a kind of Gilligan's Island the game sort of things, but instead it appears to be a game where you do a lot of building which is all fine, however building takes so long that it is best to play the mini games. Problem with the mini-games is you start with only 50 as a cap and many games give you far more than that as a reward.

Fun little game and great if you're one of those green-skinned casual gamers too.

Fun little indy game where you get many ideas for strategies and as you go up in the campaign you find that the game only gets harder because they shorten the time you have to make decisions. Unfortunately you can't undo a decision like in Hero Academy so if you do a mistake, you are stuck with it, even if it isn't the end of your turn.

Fun for a little while, but soon enough you find yourself getting bored, though it is interesting reading the stories sometimes.
