This is one of the most ambitious, original and clever games I've ever played. Very funny at moments, too. Yeah, the elevator pitch is "what if Papers Please was an FMV game?" but it's a bit more than that. Every choice that you make early on matters later and the threads the game weaves with your choices is impressive, giving it strong replay value.

The latest update gave the ability to adjust the difficulty of the mechanics, including the extremely frustrating interference mechanic, and there's even an option to turn any or all of them off entirely if you just want to see the story play out via your choices.

It's not fully finished yet and it's crashed on me a couple of times but that's what you get with Early Access so I'm fine with it at the moment. I cannot wait to see what the finished product looks like after how high the bar has been set so far. It's worth it at the current $25 price and steal any time it's on sale.

Bravo to both the devs and the actors involved, everyone's amazing in it.
