Caves of Qud is an extremely weird & dangerous game made by lovely people who care about the world and the game they're creating so much it jumps out of every detail. The game is still in early access but it already offers a robust experience & the way they've designed & layered the various systems in the game has me excited to see where they take it next.

A unique blend of gameplay elements lands this somewhere between a stellar occult visual novel, strategy game, and plate spinning simulator. The writing is consistently evocative, repeated play-throughs remain interesting, and the free-form gameplay leaves a lot of room for experimentation!
