Amazing sequel, stunning visuals, good story and finale. Gameplay is meh, but other parts far outweigh it

Pros:
- The best PC port you've ever seen. Every PC option is working from the box, no need for third-party launchers to turn on SMAA or set FullHD resolution, or fix a sound bug.
- The game is gorgeous.
- The soundtrack is amazing.

Cons:
- The game is so easy, that its core mechanics do not work. You simply have no need in them, Fights ends before you get the chance to use your minions or you a second spell, most of the fight is just spamming X button. Hence, no point in leveling up your kingdom. Also no point in using Tactics Tweaker (or whatever it is called), which is an awesome feature of itself, except there is no need to use it. New sword give +10 ATK? I don't care, I'm one-shotting half of the fights with the old one and I won't feel the difference with the new one anyhow.
- The story is sickeningly naive, hypocritical and makes no sense at any given moment. Roland is a president in our world, somehow gets teleported to another world and meets a kid king. 30 mins later forget about his world and decides to stay with Evan as adviser...??? Evan wants to create a kingdom where everyone is happy and there are no wars. But he has no problem with killing every creature that he encounters. The best one was on a quest to get the library card: he travels to the desert, finds a wyvern that just sits on a nest, protecting her eggs, and kills it. After that, he cuts off its horn and happily gives it in exchange for a LIBRARY CARD.

At the 8 hours I dread to boot this game again, there is _nothing_ fun in it. I don't know how it came to this after an awesome first game. I can play a game with a bad story when a good gameplay outweighs it (example: Tomb Rider 2013), but I just can't get myself to play the game that is boring both in story aspect and in gameplay.

I wish I stopped hoping to discover something redeemable here at 2 hours of playtime and asked for a refund. Now that I have 8 hours I'm stuck with this.

Okay, I've taken an oath not to buy anything ever again from Bandai or CC2 after the complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with launching NUNS4 and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ppl over by not including Road to Boruto into Season Pass, but they pulled an ultimate nostalgia trump card.

I wasn't expecting a good port or even HD textures or whatever. I also was pretty sure that the game is actually way worse than I remember (that's how nostalgy works). But I was actually surprised. The games are good. It does not require some fan-made patches, launchers, fixes to just get started and be able to choose correct resolution. It looks good, textures are actually HD. IT IS ACTUALLY IN 60 FPS! RIGHT FROM THE START! THATS RIGHT, YOU DON'T NEED TO WAIT A YEAR AND A HALF FOR THEM TO IMPLEMENT IT. It will run like ♥♥♥♥ (sub 60 fps causing slow motion) if you turn on MSAA, like all other games in NUNS series. You still need to set your sound output device to potato quality of 44100HZ or you will get really disturbing sounds.

The game itself feels good, even better than I remember. It really feels like Naruto game, not supersayan godlike brawler the last game is. I think that NUNS2 is the best in the series overall, but fighting in STORM 1 is just so good, substitution requires attention, not just button mash. Awakenings are true to the show, not just vague chakra aura around a character. Ultimates are closer to the anime.

About the price. I wasn't sure that 9-year-old game is worth 12 bucks. It is, surprisingly. Go get it, it's worth it.

But there are a lot of bugged achievements, sadly. Almost all combat-related ones were bugged for me. At some point, game bugged out and stores stopped completing orders with a warning that I don't have enough materials (for ramen or stuff in shop), while I clearly had more than enough.
