If you played Outer Wilds and just wish you could play it again, get this DLC, it brings the same feelings all over again.

If you haven't played Outer Wilds and are eyeballing this in a bundle, I can wholeheartedly recommend this DLC to anyone who likes Outer Wilds, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend Outer Wilds to anyone, so... yeah I would recommend it.

There are some complaints about a couple of areas which I originally shared when playing, but every time I started to go "man this is rough, I didn't think they'd cheap shot you like this" they'd reveal that there was some hidden trick or easier way all along, just like discoveries in the base game (if you've played Tunic, it's like finding a hidden ladder shortcut that you always could've accessed).

Amazing DLC for an amazing game.

The best game I've ever played and one of my favorite experiences in a game. Outer Wilds is unique in that it doesn't gate the player artificially by saying "go here and beat this guy / solve this puzzle to unlock the next zone", it gates the player by the player's own knowledge and creativity. It leads to a completely organic experience and one that is extremely memorable.

Because of that design though, the less you know the better. If you're considering this game enough to even look at reviews, just buy it and don't risk spoiling anything more to yourself. This game is incredible.

I picked this up after trying it during a "try it for free for the weekend, and it's on sale" period. It's a fantastic game for local play with your friends, whether it's just you and a pal, or a group of 4. If you are going to play locally, I'd recommend getting a transceiver that you can connect Xbox controllers to -- you can remap everything ingame so it makes playing it a lot easier. I haven't done much online or solo play so I can't speak to that. The gun selection is pretty wide and amusingly diverse, and the level editor, while a little clunky, has a lot of capabilities.

Definitely up there as one of my favorite games to play locally with friends.
