Mixed feelings on this one.

I don't expect football level investment into a rugby game and the effort to add tactical nuance for the first time in a Rugby game is great but this is very rough around the edges and i'd go as far as to say unfinished in places. I'm OK with the lack of polish - god awful stock images, inconsistent and sometimes entirely missing player pictures, dated graphics corny music etc. - but there are a lot of bugs that i'm sure the devs must have known about:

- Commentary isn't coded properly. They pick out the wrong players (sometimes ones not playing) or comment on things that haven't happened etc. The worst example is that there doesn't seem to be commentary for a draw, the commentators just pick an arbitrary winner
- There is no explanation of the controls or remapping. There are a handful of training tutorials but the set moves training doesn't work at all
- You can't set a resolution over 1080p in game
-your selected player will wander offside automatically unless you switch players quickly after the ruck
- As far as I can tell, you can't name your team in solo mode - it's just "my team 1"
- Sometimes the ball flies off at great speed in a random direction (usually as part of a line out)
- I seem to have mysterious a enormous long number in the top right of my screen!?

My biggest gripe is that we can't create our own competitions or teams to fill in the gaps from licenses. I understand not all license will be possible but when I can't create an England team, World Cup, European Cup or Six Nations, this becomes a hard one to recommend.

The core gameplay here is good. Unfortunately the lack of polish/attention to detail is dragging it down. If there is continued development to iron out the kinks - this could be worth a look later.
