This game is alright. Its very similar to the first Subnautica, except the vehicles aren't as fun and there is a horrible section of the game that takes place above ground.

The ice spires segment is the worst part of this game by far. The tools given to the player to deal with the problems don't seem to work, or seem to be strictly worse than other solutions that aren't meant for it.

Some of the objectives seem tedious, and less guided than the first Subnautica. In the first one the objectives felt way more clearly explained, and there was a sense of magic in parts, like finding the hidden island. This one had a bunch of objectives like that, but eventually they stopped showing up and left me kind of confused.
