First of all, you should know that this game has nothing to do with the original Super Meat Boy when it comes to gameplay. And that's OK.
  • This game is a runner (similar to games like "Geometry Dash", "Bit.Trip Runner", etc).
  • The controls are also quite different to fit the new gameplay. As long as you like that kind of game, that shouldn't be a concern.
  • The main appeal of the game is the lore of Super Meat Boy, the great visual style, the characters, the music.
The problem (the 60 FPS lock):
I could enjoy the game if it wasn't for the fact that it's locked at 60 FPS and that makes it a blurry mess for me. Unplayable. That's the only reason I don't like it and I'm asking for a refund.

Note that the original was also locked (as most platformers are), but for runners like this I think it's unacceptable to be locked at 60FPS in 2022. In this kind of game it's really beneficial to support a high refresrate.

I just started playing the game and it's totally worth it. If just for the visual and auditory feast.

It's among the most beautiful games I have ever played.

Not only looks beautiful, but thanks to the art and graphic style, I think it will age really well and still look amazing for many years to come.

I need to play it more to properly judge the gameplay. But even if I don't like it that much, I will still play it to immerse myself in the world. And you always have the option to play it in ZEN MODE + EASY if you just want to relax.

I'm sure this is an enjoyable little puzzler, especially for the price. It has a programming theme, similar to SpaceChem.

But the forced tutorials! Where you can do nothing but click where the game tells you to click! Hate that! They ruin the discoverability; you feel the game treats you like you are unable to explore, to try, to learn, to experiment (bad game design in my opinion). Between that, and the lack of achievements I don't feel like playing this game anymore.

Really fun and challenging little game. The level design and controls remind me a lot of Super Meat Boy. Short and challenging levels.

The pixel graphics suit really well and the music creates a nice atmosphere... and the quotes!!, oh my god the quotes spread all over the game... they are a nice and welcome little touch. Impossible to get them all, but fun to try.

Oh, and you can play it at your own pace, relaxed... or you can opt in to play a timed mode, where you are supposed to go as fast as you can.

Overall, an awesome game; fun and casual but challenging at the same time.

Simple, relaxing, fulfilling. A joy to play. A must if you love puzzle games.
I was honestly impressed by it. A polished little game.

And it's way too cheap.

Great remaster! keeps and enhances on every single detail from the original. Awesome art.
The control interface, verb and inventory selection are great; much better than the remaster of Monkey Island 1.

Don't want the enhanced art, improved interface or voices? don't worry, you can play the original version; with the original verb and inventory selection and no voices, just text...
Or you could play the original but with voiceovers from the remaster for an enhanced experience. The choice is yours.

Rally worth it, no matter if you played the original one back in the day.

PS. I hope they release and updated version with even higher resolution for modern displays.

I usually love puzzle games, no matter how difficult, simple or complex they are... but they need to be fun, and this game is not, in my opinion.

I find this game non intuitive.
The goal is to solve the puzzles with the least amount of moves. They are hard... but not "fun hard", just "annoying hard".
Maybe it's just the controls (they annoy me most of the time), or maybe is the implementation. In any case, can't recommend this game.

Travel trough a crazy labyrinth full of awesome puzzles while you reflect on some life lessons. Amazing and surreal experience. Ton of secrets. Nice and artistic graphics that suit really well... still haven't found everything in the game.

I'm a big fan of puzzle games... have played a ton of them. But I have to say, Toki-Tori is by far one of my favorites. Of all time. Great puzzle design. Amazing!

But stay away of Toki Tori 2. It has nothing to do with this one.
