An interesting game, it is certainly fun to play, and is simple, yet not too simple.

The game is just online battles, and the combat itself is easy to pick up, with a main attack and a few special moves.

The skill comes in when you choose your character, and how to upgrade them, as you upgrade them over the course of the game, so you can respond to the action. I feel that you could get very good at this game by studying ever character and its upgrades, giving it a surprising depth.

But, that aside, killing random robots in a 2d scrolling shooter, is pretty fun.

Overall: Great story in the animus, fixes gameplay flaws in the original (mostly), story in the 'real' world a bit lacking.

The story in the animus is gripping, with the exciting chases across varied landscapes.

It fixes the wierd blending system, you an now hide in crowds, or hire groups to be a crowd, greatly improving the stealth aspect.

There is still a lot of horseback riding, but it is nowhere near as bad as in the original.

The combat is more complex, allowing more room for improvement, in the original you hit a glass ceiling were you could counter everything perfectly.

The story in the real world is the biggest flaw, it is interesting to begin with, then has a few stops and starts in the middle (with the british man keeping your interest alive with his cynicism), then ends with a shameless cliff hanger.

The story is gripping, however, the gameplay involves an awful lot of horseback riding, and the blend mechanic is a bit wierd (it drastically improves in all the later games).

Overall, the story is fantastic, and the thrill of the chase (once you have ridden to a city) is great, and I would recommend this game, despite its minor flaws.

Very clever game, some of the puzzles are so complex you don't even remember how to do them.

Extremely replayable, every time you reach a dead end (or what you thing is a dead end), you can jump back to the start and go again.

The puzzles are extremely varied, and sometimes mess with your head.

Fun game, a bit empty right now, however the rate at which they are adding mechanics means it will be finished in no time
