I haven't played a Tekken since Tag 1 so take this with a grain of salt but the game is excellent. The cast is varied, the presentation is fantastic and the whole thing is very well put together. It's apparently one of the best Tekkens in a long time. I don't have enough experience to say if this is the case but it's definitely a fantastic fighting game. About the only cons for me are

1. the online isn't the best. I'm not sure how feasible roll back netcode would be in Tekken but it's clearly not made for North America

2. lack of cross play limits the online community a bit. Given 1 that means fewer players in your immediate area so as you rank up you're going to be matched with fewer and fewer people with choice connections. Up until the middle ranks this is less of an issue.
