Strayan Animal Crossing done right.

Play at your own pace without any of that fear of missing out. Fun casual wholesome game with amazing community and support team on Discord. Looking forward to future updates.

This game is surprisingly good. Kinda hardcore but not too extreme; needs to stay disciplined and if you're slacking off early on, you'll be penalized for it and it will set a domino effect. However once you're established and familiar with the map, it's a breeze.

There's survival elements to it with several alternatives to fulfill your needs. Same goes with money making. (You can make 10k a day by begging but begging is for suckers!)

There's memory leak issues and minor bugs with the crafting UI sometimes but other than that I have nothing to complain. A solid game from a small studio.

Casual. Not fun. Clunky. Frustrating. Cheap. Nice pixel art.

Honestly I couldn't in good faith recommend Surviving Titan; it fail to meet my expectation on so many levels. My first session of an hour and a half is not fun at all. The controls are clunky, the UI design are unintuitive, the combat is frustrating, the story is unoriginal, and the ending is just...meh.

Once you've unlock abilities you have to bind it to your toolbar, competing with all the various tools that you need to constantly juggle. Enemy hitbox detection is terrible. You have to align your position just so and the enemy will always approach at an angle in which you can't hit them back.

At first I thought maybe it'll feel a lot better with controller instead of keyboard and mouse but the game fail to detect my PS4 controller. Keeps giving me "gamepad not detected" when in game even tho it register button presses just fine in main menu.

The only redeeming quality is the price and the nice pixel art. It's cheap. The cheap price and nostalgia for Harvest Moon SNES pixel art aesthetic is the only reason I buy this game. I only keep playing it because I'm too stubborn to quit. I'm not going to refund, so might as well try to get 100% achievement out of it. Pretty sad.

Fun. Casual. Niche. Zen. Sandbox. No handholding. Great soundtrack.

This game might not be for all since there's no tutorials, no quest giver, no end goal. Other than initial fetch quest, you're on your own. Fun for people capable of setting their own goal and follow their own routine. A play at your own pace kinda game.

There's plenty to do. You can fish, farm, mine, cook, brew potion/wine, craft your own gears, explore, fight monsters, build houses and start your own settlement, decorate your house as you please.

No level up system. Get better gear for better protection, better weapon for more damage, better tools for efficiency. Get buff from full set armor or from good food/potion. Land claim token for property expansion is very unique.

Game is fairly cheap and the one man dev consistently dropping new contents once a month.

This is one of those games that you tell yourself you're going to spend half an hour playing it and you'll move on because you got other stuff to do that day but you eventually started saying things like "Ok, just one more day/night...just one more wave...I almost got it this time so just one more try" and then you ended up sinking 3-4 hours each session.

Not perfect by any means, kinda short and simple but highly addictive. Definitely worth the price.
