Very impressive remaster of this timeless piece of sci-fi horror.

The System Shock remake brings the player on a trip back to Citadel station in an excellent look back into retro game design. This immersive sim from the 90s pioneered the Immersive sim genre and the new remake captures that to the very last detail, choosing to keep even some of the most outdated mechanics in order to remain faithful.
The biggest highlight of the game is its open ended exploration and storytelling, where the player is able to access the entire station almost from the get go, but needs to figure out his objectives trough audio logs, environmental ques and even just logical thinking. The game really does not hold the players hand when it comes to progressing the story, and that is a refreshing change of pace compared to many modern games which need to accommodate their gameplay to the lowest common denominator. Be aware, however, that this means that the player may often find himself running circles around the station not really knowing where to go next.
The biggest downside of the game might be the enemies and their AI, which will often do no more than just walk towards the player and shoot, which allows for certain tactics which may trivialise a lot of the encounters in the game. This is, as far as I understand, a purposeful decision by the devs in order to be faithful to the original, but it is worth mentioning that combat is not the primary focus of the game.
Overall, System Shock is an amazing experience that truly shines a new (actually very old) light onto the modern gaming landscape!

Battlefield 2042 today is almost unrecognisable from the game that launched in 2021. And while many people will not forgive the game for its poor start, I believe BF2042 now, and in its future, will progress to be one of the better games in the series. So if you're on the fence about getting the game, now is actually a good time to come back to it or try it out.

To say that Battlefield 2042 has had a rough launch would be an understatement. Plagued with not only game breaking bugs, it also lacked a lot of core features and other quality of life features that previous Battlefield games had. For a couple months after the launch, my hope for the franchise was at an all time low, thinking that EA would pull the plug after the first year of promised content and let this game flounder in failure as a permanent stain on the Battlefield Franchise.

However, DICE decided to stick with the game even after its lowest points, announcing QoL improvements, stability, content and a bunch of other things that they soon started delivering. They even announced that they will be supporting this game past Year 1. Now 2042 has all the hallmarks of a good Battlefield game, with Class Reworks coming just around the corner, many gripes with the game will get resolved.

Despite its many perceived flaws, War Thunder is a truly unique experience which can provide an endless source of fun. There is nothing quite like it out there. With so many vehicles on offer, the pool of content is almost infinite.
Takes a bit of effort and experience to get good at, but if you though it out, you will not regret it.

From Software took most of the things that worked in the Soulsborne franchises and placed into a wast open world full of things to do. 30 hours in and I barely feel like im anywhere close to the end!

Early Access Review
It fights like a 80's action movie, if only all of the characters were drunk.

Really fun to play with friends and I can't wait to see what more the developments add in.
