Generally, I think review bombing is pretty ridiculous and 'gamers' as a whole are very impatient, and tend to be quite immature in their critique.

However, this launch was a predictable disaster which should probably be criticized quite extensively. Most people simply cannot play this game as of now, an issue I don't see being fixed for a little while.

The biggest point of confusion here I think is their extreme reliance on Azure and cloud content delivery - which is a good idea in theory - but when coupled with a few poor, poor decisions just created one of the worst launch days in recent memory, even in a gaming landscape where bad launch days are ubiquitous and more rule than exception.

Firstly, Azure is a Microsoft product, and while there are certainly complexities I could never comprehend, much less be aware of, server capacity, or availability should simply not be an issue for another Microsoft product. Whether this was simple ignorance, or some attempt to minimize costs this is pretty inexcusable. The primary means of delivering content is overloaded (when load should have been easy enough to predict) and as a result very few, if any, can play the game, much less play it as intended. Not staggering release just further exacerbates the above issues. This is by far the most damning issue so far. How can you ♥♥♥♥ this up so badly, I'm really unsure.

MSFS2020 for all it's faults, at EOL had pretty solid optionality when it came to balancing localization vs cloud delivery which doesn't seem to be the case as of now in 2024 which is pretty disappointing and a massive downgrade just by default.

Those who have gotten in, myself included (although it was a brief foray), have been presented with generally worse graphical fidelity and possibly poorer optimization, all of which are seemingly tied to the heavy reliance on cloud delivery. This extends to paid content as well. I have the Premium Deluxe Edition and most of the planes were not installed by default (with no way to install them in game) when I did get in, meaning I couldn't even test them if I wanted to before my game froze in one of the menus.

I think - like many games these days - it will be good in 6 months, to a few years, but I'm kind of sick of this being the life cycle of games. Asobo generally did a very good job across the life cycle of 2020, so I am hopeful. Further, the content that is supposed to be available on this version, if it is even remotely as advertised, is an improvement with many interesting aircraft and some much needed tech upgrades. None of which are available as of now, though.

This is the game that warmed me up to the Total War series (and Turn-Based games in general). Glad I played it and I will continue to play this series (not just Empire), cant wait for Warhammer!

Great fun and the graphics still hold up pretty well!

Payday 2... Where to start. In my experience of this game I found it to be extremely fun however fairly shortlived but still fun. Again plenty of missions and plenty of weapons to play around with and now with tons of reasonably priced DLC (my favorite being the latest BBQ pack) there is more than enough content but it gets quite boring after a few hours of playing. I'm not the best at this game but played up until about level 50 and I found myself playig in short bursts over a period of times often with friends (I suggest playing with friends it is more fun that way). I also find that it is extremely fun to play stealth mode with silenced pistols (I forgot to mention the great customizability) and wire tappers etc. Overall very worth its fairly low price even better with selected DLCs and I would give it a pretty confident 7/10.

-Enjoy!

Early Access Review
Amazing game. Yes it has bugs, yes it is laggy however this is a ALPHA build. I stress ALPHA strongly. The fact it is so complete at this stage in its life is frankly amazing, well done Bohemia Interactive. I truly believe that this is a fantastic zombie survivor simulator in an ex-soviet country. Very good 9/10 (so far)

I have loved this game ever since I started playing it with my friend on the X-Box 360 in 2012 we would stay up all night playing it on his big flatscreen sitting on his bed switching every 10 minutes or so. Then I bought it myself for Xbox as well and played the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of it I must have had a good 300 hrs on record then I got sort of bored having completed the main quest line and other quest lines a few times so I sold it at gamestop (Those bastards as usual gave me a hardy 10 bucks yay) anyway I didnt really think about it until I later got really into steam through my other friend who really loves TF2 and I saw skyrim in my friends account I was stupid and had no idea it was on PC and he told me I should get it so I did then I slowly became sucked in to the modding community steam workshop mods then nexus now I'm beggining to make my own. This game without mods is fun however with mods it is arguably the best game I have ever played!

Overall: 8.5/10 (No Mods)
Overall: 9.5/10 (W/ Mods) Only because it does get boring after playing for a week straight however totally worth the money!

This game is fun to play with buddies and in groups, however playing on your own does get quite boring but that is how most only multiplayer shooters are. The main thing I liked was the intensity you can get from matches something I definitely did not expect from this game also the customization is awesome it gives you hundreds of choices for your guns so you can really make your own, that is if you have enough money. The main downfall like most free-to-play shooters is the price of everything for your gun which makes sense but as always is annoying. It has a set up much like TF2 which makes perfect sense seeing how well that game did but really customizing your character to your liking might have you breaking out the wallet but the prices are definitely not outrageuos by any means so it will most likely be pretty cheap but its up to you if you really want to pay for the in-game items.

Overall: 7.5/10
