This is a BRILLIANT game if you enjoy the Robocop movies. For me, the 3rd doesn't exist, but regardless, this is what I expected from a 3rd movie, The Devs most definitely have a love and passion for the franchise which is obvious. This isn't just another money grab from a big studio to cash in on the popularity. I'm more than impressed.

Don't read reviews. Don't spoil the story beats for yourself. Go in virgin and you'll find an absolutely insane bit of storytelling.

Relaxing IDLE game. Not for the impatient.

tl;dr: Serious Sam 4 is the best Serious Sam game yet. It is not the greatest game ever however, but it entertained me more than enough to warrant at least a second looksee with a trainer to fully marvel at the humour of the devs. I miss humour in games, especially MY type of humour (uhh.. lets say Ironic Dark... Hey, I might have an idea for a WHOLE NEW FRANCHISE.) *AHEM* OK, so end of delirious fantasies for future projects (for now... BWAHAHAHA).

Seriously though, it's a solid game if you like 1 and 2. 3 was a mixed bag for me, but this one brings a bit of what made the first 2 special with better graphics and story. I may come back later to elaborate if I still have the motivation.

If you enjoyed the originals, you'll enjoy these the same, just with better graphics.

If you enjoy RPG looters, you are going to enjoy this. The story is very much W40K worthy. I bought it as I was already a fan of the Inquisitor set of novels and the story in the game is pretty much on par with those. I'm a huge fan of games like Diablo 2 and Path of Exile and this plays kind of like a mix of those. Looks good and plays well. At the very least I'd recommend picking it up on sale, but if you are a W40K or a fan of RPG looters in general, it's worth the asking price IMO.

THE DEV HAS ABANDONED THIS TITLE ACCORDING TO THE FORUMS AND NO RESPONSE OTHERWISE. As an idle game I cannot recommend this title. The idle aspect works fine, the problem is the end game and the unbalanced mess the Trade Post phase is isn't worth doing for the rewards offered vs the time required. As per what I've read on the forums, the dev has moved onto another title and the last update was August 2018 so your time will be wasted, so don't bother unless your time means absolutely nothing to you.

Great free game with support for player made levels.

Screw the PvP crybabies, this campaign has a storyline that is the best since the first Black Ops and the funnest since the original WWII CoDs. I want a single player Infinite Warfare 2. The PvP in CoD these days is toxic anyway. That's it, that's my review.

Full Disclosure: I bought this game at release for X-Box one at the time of release and played it on normal up until the last mission and it bugged in such a way that I could not complete it without restarting from the beginning. Because of this I took it back to EB Games Canada within a week and got a full refund.

Now, I enjoyed the story immensly up until that point and, because the game was on sale in the winter 2016 Steam sale with the season pass, I decided I'd give it another go, if nothing else I wanted to see how the main game ended.

After playing through the main campaign I have to say I loved it. They've fixed it up and it plays perfectly. I haven't noticed any game breaking bugs. I've also played through the two DLC currently available and I have to say that I cannot wait for the final installment.

It got off to a VERY shakey start, but it has turned into a pleasure to play for the price I paid during the sale. I cannot wait for the next game in the franchise. If you're reading this at the time time of the sale I'm speaking of (or cheaper).. buy it.. it's worth it and has hours of entertainment (look at my played time).
