After reading all these negative reviews I had to write my own, this is really not that bad of a game. Sure it is no gem, but it has a very nice setting, imho a good story, wich you are really a part of. The missions, as crude as they are, are telling the story well, you always know why you are running from A to B and you don't have to do ridiculous stuff that makes no sense. They stole a bit of Far Cry here and a bit of Assassins Creed there but they patched it into a fun game. Exactly after 20 hours I finished the game wich is a ok time for a Single Player experience. I could have squeezed out another 5 hours easily if I had completed every sector 100%

Thousand thanks again to Ayuri, who gifted me this game!!
I would have probably never bought it through to the bad reviews, but those ppl either have complete different taste, or really didn't try to get into the game. The first few hours I didn't have that much fun either, but after getting into it and getting access to all those neat gadgets, it began to grow on me. It is like with a TV series, you always have to watch through to the 3. episode to know if you like it. There are small RPG elements, but you just level with buying stuff with money you earned, wich is the best option in my opinion (the american way).

TLTR
Despite the bad reviews the game is worth a try if you like games like Far Cry 3-5. The story is well driven forward and gets the job done. After a couple of hours the city gets somehow immersive and lively. Eventhough movement is very restricted for an open world game, it fits the setting of the game (america beeing occupied by north korea) very well.

--------------
TimeSplitters 2
at the end of the game there is an arcade machine ingame, where you can play two levels of Time Splitters 2 wich is emulated completely. There are cheatcodes you can type in to get access to the full game, atm there is no real pc port out there (only emulating it yourself). So it is almost two games for the price of one heck of a deal imho...

This game is just awesome, cannot remember from my childhood if everything is 100% the same but the changes are just slightly if and make it so much more playable in this century :D
The game is almoste the same like in 1998 but with graphics from 2020 :-)
Played already 3 playthroughs and I useually just never play a game twice in this short order.

It's like Arma on a small scale, much more fastpaced, but you get much more coordinated fights on public servers cuz the community is just great. If you have a good squadleader wich is crutial, if you want to get the most out of the game and have the most fun, then you can wreck real havoc to the enemy. The base building part is very well implemented in the game and a big factor to winning games. The fights are just amazing, on 40 vs 40 servers where everybody is pushing one point you feel like private james ryan or like in full metal jacket, depending on squadlead and all your comrades. Immersion sometims is just great, even if the healing system compared to some in Arma is just plain battlefield. But well balanced and all, servers always full up to 18 players waiting for slot, just great game to play. Rounds seldomly longer than 2 hours wich is sad but maybe on some custom servers you can find some bigger battles.

just WOW 10/10 for a complete new game experience

This game is really awesome!

I do not want to get too deep into the story (do not want to spoil anything) but the storytelling as it is, is far the best that you can get in a game. Cinema was yesterday, this is the future :)

If you want to see if the game is something for you, I strongly recommend to get the demo version. If you liked the demo just a bit then get the game as a whole, just buying one season makes no sense and after first season you just wanna see how everything turns out, like in a good series with cliffhangers.
Hard to explain the gameplay mechanics as there aren't any, and if you watch youtube videos of this game it may come over as a boring game where you cannot do much but it isn't. When you play it you totally love to walk through the world wich is beautifully designed with detail and Max (the main character) has to say something about almost everything you see. There is literally tons of spoken text and you won't hear the same sample twice. Compared to the telltalegames like the walking dead you feel that the things you decide have much bigger influence on the outcome of the story.

I wrote this review after my first playthrough and will maybe add to it after my second. The game has a great replayvalue and took me 20 hours to complete wich is pretty awesome for 20 bucks fullprice (though I bought it at saleprice).

This game is awesome! Personally I am really addicted to this game at the moment. Ok first of all it is no real game... It is more a educational software for gunenthusiasts or a training module for your local shootingclub to further your knowledge about the internal parts of a gun and how a gun excactly works. But the game modes wich you will play a lot if you want to unlock more guns are fun (too a degree). I mean it is really not for everyone disassembling and assembling the same gun over and over again (to unlock new guns), but as this is more a tool to get knowledge about guns and how their internals work and the dependancies between those parts, I call that an excellent approach to bring that knowledge to guninterested people and I think it is really the easiest and fun way to learn about these things.

As I have read some reviews about this game myself, I read a lot about grinding in this game. For a game that is really Free to Play I think that isn't fair to say, cause even if it is a bit of grinding, you get full access to each and every gun through playing. If you are really bad at assembling and disassembling, just do it over and over again... you will get the hang to it and score your needed points.
*Every 2 hours you can do a quiz where you just have to relate a black and white silhouette to a gunname, if you know gun's this is a fairly easy method for acquiring a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of points in just 30 sec. (every 2 hours without a hassle).* Update NOW every 1 hour * Kudos to the developers :)

Get that game and try to beat my highscores, it is free to play afterall!!!

If there is one game where the immersion is so great that you feel as if you are really there by yourself it is day z. There is no other game where death has such harsh consequences, that you really fear for your life. After 48 reallife hours with the same chara and a complete prestine inventory you have the urge to form alliances with other players just to prolong your life and not to get killed by bandits. In it's bare pre alpha state it is a real gem that you must play from the very first beginning.

And yeah handcuff your enemys, make them drop their clothes, force feed them rotten food, snipe from more than a mile away and real military tactics that are required to advance in this large 225 m² environment, everything is there.

The best thing is the freelook, you can walk forward and still turn your head to look sideways or behind yourself, just as in reallife. Then absolute superb weaponmodels, never ever spend so much time just looking up and down my weapon, every attachment makes a big visual difference, and is just a charm to look at.

*update
-so it is still fun after 200 hours of playing, but I reached the end of the game if there is one, and have nothing more to do :)
- just hope that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at the airfield is happy with my sks and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of ammo I was carrying

If multiplayer rages you out and you throw now and then the controller through your tv or crush your fist on the desk, this will easen you up. Never had this much fun before in multiplayer and I mean real fun, and still it is BIG competition gaming... ok after 150 hours of gaming it is like every other shooter and you hit your desk again, Fu**ing SPY !#!*+!;* grrr

If you liked GTA and just wanted to do the same ♥♥♥♥ as a student, then this is the game you need to play. Almost every mission is fun to play and also the conversations show that the real GTA developers did their part in creating this game.
