Burn Baby, Burn!

Ok. I KNEW this was gonna happen! I just knew...
So, there are these business missions, right? And one of them is called Isha's Taxis. All other missions that I've been have like three parts, tops. But there's that last one which is called The Big One. As an enthusiastic lover of puns, I very much enjoyed the fact that the mission has a limo. But! It also have you drive around and pick up like 5 or 6 people, I guess I've lost count. It takes like, I don't know, 20 minutes? Felt like an eternity, I'm not sure. And then... yup, there's more, the misson gives you 4 minutes limit to drive like 14 km. Which wouldn't be very much of a problem IF the game didn't close for no reason. It's not even a crash, not that there's a report or anything. And this wasn't the first time, the game just closes with no apparent reason. Or kicks you out of a lobby in the middle of a race with your friends. And the missions have no skip button. And it's not even a new game! I mean, nobody really didn't think of putting a skip button for retrying the missions for 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years? I just HAVE TO listen to the same dialogue over and over again. Because missing the 3 stars mark with less than a second is not punishment enough?

EDIT: Steam asked me to revise my review now that I've played 9 more hours. So here it is: It closed up on me 9 more times in those 9 hours. The record for the shortest amount of gameplay is 20 minutes for me. AND in those hours I've made the terrible mistake of trying the ranked system. The game has achievements that requires you to get ranked through something called Team Adventure. Which is waiting for at least 10 minutes to get to play 3 minutes online. This game is a ♥♥♥♥ show.

A 2 hour journey that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Ok, I've started writing a review for 3 times now. I have SO MANY things to discuss and complain about the game. But I won't.
I'm gonna keep it very short and simple this time: You can't keep playing the game after your save file reaches 8 mb.
I still believe in CD Projekt RED, I'm a huge fan and I would just hate to see this company turning into another, well... "Company". But this game still needs a year or so before it should be played. Well, it doesn't let you play anyway at the moment.

EDIT: So they've fixed the 8mb issue with saves. But corrupted saves couldn't be recovered. Which was ok, they already said that they're gone. So I've loaded up an earlier save and because of the size it still took a lot of time to load. Then, of course, I've decided to test the new limit for saves so I've started crafting again, the game crashed. I'm not going to play it for a very long time.

The server disconnect issues almost never happened this new season, so I've decided to update my review and change it to positive.
The matchmaking is still a pain in the butt but it's good to know that they're at least trying to make it better. I still think it must be career total kills or K/DR based but it's a lot of work. In general I think that longer waiting times is a fair trade against more satisfied players. In short, I suck at this game but I want to play it more yet after a certain level I can't, because of all the 50k kill Wraiths because I have 2k career total kills because I suck at this game!

One of the best stories ever told. You have to see it for yourself.

Now, it's easy to write here, things like; "Dude! It's awesome!" or "Best game I've ever played!" or "You have to play it before you die bro!" but it wouldn't exactly cut it, would it?

Andrzej Sapkowski's "Wiedzmin" is an excellent work of art and it wouldn't be appropriately told if this was an ordinary game. But to get the most of this game right, you have to dig a little into the story.

The world of witcher is full of gray areas and whether to tell the difference between morally what's wrong and what's right or who's the monster and who's not usually falls down to our hero, Geralt of Rivia. The Butcher of Blaviken, Gwynbleidd, The White Wolf. If you think just one character shouldn't get this much titles and nicknames, well... Believe me, he earns them all.

If you're not into story based beautiful and epic RPG's of old, which is ok not many people these days do, well this game brings you the perfect combination of Epic Storytelling and Dodging Bolts with Sword kind of action. But! To get the most of this game, you have to play, in my opinion, the first two games too.

Playing the earlier games, especially the low budget first game could prove quite hard to get used to, but I promise you, you won't regret it later on. If you're a freak like me who gets turned on from the little details that is.

And there's also this whole "Read the damn books you idiot!" thing but that's also ok. If you're also not into reading then seeing things like me, then there's a TV show that translated to English as "The Hexer" from Polish. The budget is also pretty low but the acting in my opinion really saves the show. Plus, you get to see things like how (my favourite character from the series) Dandelion (Jaskier) gets his lute and his somewhat origins. Apart from the fault they made with Vesemir by showing him as two seperate characters, it's really good. But, read the damn books you idiot!

Alright, I got carried away, I usually do... To sum it up: CD Projekt Red made their mission to take this story as their national treasure and decided that this story must reach the rest of the world too. And they did it with so much effort, in a way that puts the other game companies to shame. The best Company Support Page is the one you never had to visit, so far CD Projekt Red is on the lead for me. For that I'll ever be grateful.

I learned English with Might & Magic IX, the best present I got for my 18th birthday was Gothic II, I really started reading Fantasy novels with Dragonlance, and more or less seen all there is about the genre and I'm telling you. The Witcher 3 (GOTY Edition) is the best game that I've ever played.

Andrzej Sapkowski'nin "Wiedzmin"i mükemmel bir sanat eseri ve eğer bu oyun sıradan olsaydı bu hikaye uygun bir şekilde anlatılmış olamazdı. Ama bu oyunu tam anlamıyla tadabilmeniz için hikayeyi biraz eşelemeniz gerekiyor.

Efsunger'in dünyası gri alanlar ile dolu ve genellikle vicdani olarak neyin doğru neyin yanlış ya da kimin canavar olup kimin olmadığına karar vermek de kahramanımız Rivia'lı Geralt'a düşüyor. Blaviken'ın Kasabı, Gwynbleidd, Beyaz Kurt. Eğer tek bir karakterin bu kadar lakabı ve ünvanı olmamalı diye düşünüyorsanız da tabi... İnanın bana, hepsini hakediyor.

Eğer eski zamanların güzel ve efsanevi hikaye anlatımlı RPG'lerini sevmiyorsanız; ki sorun değil çünkü çoğu insan bu sıralar sevmiyor, işte bu oyun size Efsanevi Hikaye Anlatımı ile Kılıçla Ok Savuşturma seviyesinde aksiyonun mükemmel birleşimini sunuyor. Ama! Oyunu tam anlamıyla oynamanız için, bana göre, ilk iki oyunu da oynamanız gerekiyor.

Önceki oyunları, özellikle de düşük bütçeli ilk oyunu oynamak ilk başta biraz alışılması zor geliyor. Ama bana güvenin, sonrasında pişman olmuyorsunuz. Tabi bu, benim gibi küçük detaylar için salyaları akan biriyseniz geçerli.

Ve tabi ayrıca şu bütün "Kitapları okusana gerizekalı!" muhabbeti var ama o da sorun değil. Eğer siz de benim gibi okumaktan çok görmeyi sevenlerdenseniz, İngilizce'ye "The Hexer" olarak çevrilmiş Polonya yapımı (maalesef henüz Türkçe altyazılısını görmedim, kendim çevirmeye de hep üşendim, hep üşeneceğim.) televizyon dizisini izleyebilirsiniz. Bütçe yine hayli düşük ama bana göre oyunculuk diziyi hayli kurtarıyor. Artı olarak, (Benim serideki favori karakterim) Dandelion'ın (Jaskier) lavtasını nasıl edindiğini ve kısmen onun da soyu hakkında şeyleri görebiliyorsunuz. Vesemir'i iki farklı karakter olarak yaptıkları hata dışında oldukça iyi. Ama, kitapları okusana gerizekalı!

Pekala, uçtum gittim yine, oluyor öyle... Toparlamak gerekirse: CD Projekt Red milli hazineleri olarak bu hikayeyi ele alıp görev edindiler ve karar verdiler ki bu hikaye dünyanın geri kalanına da ulaşmalı. Ve bunu çok fazla emekle, diğer oyun şirketlerini utandıracak bir şekilde yaptılar. En iyi Şirket Destek Sayfası hiç ziyaret etmek zorunda kalmadığındır, ve bu konuda şimdiye kadar CD Projekt Red benim için zirvede. Bunun için hep minnettar olacağım.
