Honestly this is probably one of my favorite indie games- a big statement I know, but hear me out.
This game captures everything I love about indies like an offbeat story, creative environments, choices that actually mean something, and an overall ability to drive its point across. Heck, I loved it so much, I even wanted to play it again, portable on my switch.

I don't want to give too much away story wise, but I will say that ultimately what we want in life may or may not happen and sometimes, even if it doesn't happen, you learn to appreciate what happened already- character development, growth, new relationships, new experiences blah blah. The thing is, it's totally possible to get a VERY GOOD ending, but it's DIFFICULT (well without a guide or something). The thing is, I didn't play this for the perfect ending, I played it for the journey and there are so many new things to discover each playthrough or even each save file you make- trust me you're going to want to try it all.

There's this one person for instance who I completely forgot to help out, and let's just say days later, it didn't go well for them. That's the kind of environments you want- to where all NPCs have something going on. I really won't spoil anything here, please please, just play it and enjoy the ride. I'm to this day STILL finding cute little easter eggs and possibilities.

WARNING: This game is quite disturbing and if you're overly sensitive to themes of sexual assault, abuse, and all those highly uncomfortable scenarios...find a short summary online and go about your day.

But if you're interested in walking simulators with detailed environments and pieces to solve, give this a try! It definitely isn't the BEST game out there, but I actually do applaud the developers for one thing: Taking a risk. I think when games showcase such tough material, whether good or badly, it at least starts a conversation and games can be a platform to comment on such matters. TSORF is a short 5-6 hour maybe game of exploring the main character's past and solving an old mystery that she would rather forget- the affair of her father with a girl she grew up with. she was pregnant too with his baby, which threw me for a loop indeed..and it definitely gets worse from there.

The voice acting to me was good enough, but what really made the game was the SOUND DESIGN! Put some headphones on and turn out the lights for this one because it really came alive at that point. My only real issue with this game was that it felt like it held my hand and then after leading me towards the end, it kinda just let go and pushed me. The end was good, but felt a little rushed. Why build all that tension just to kinda go "welp, so this and this happened. How do you want to end it?" I felt it could've been done differently and had even more of a shock factor.

Final Score: 3.8/5

Hm...so I actually waited to try this game and now that I have..

I'd say it's not worth the price...yet.

There is a really cool old school Warner Bros. clip that you can watch along with a few black and white films. Everything in your immediate area is interactive BUT achievements don't pop right away (or sometimes at all) and the amount of bugs is a little extreme for my taste. However, the game delivers exactly what it says- a flight on a plane.

You will spend either 2 or 5 REAL-TIME hours enjoying the sounds and feel of a plane flight. The in game music on your phone and podcasts (or ASMR if you're into that) are an interesting add on, but it would be nice to just simply listen to my own music. The Walking Dead phone game is cool, if only it actually worked well.

This is a great idea, but if you were looking for a full on simulation, wait a bit for updates. If you have trouble falling asleep, well then turn this game on and cozy up to the excellent sound design! Plus leaving the game on as you sleep is probably the best way to actually finish a flight :)

So this game is interesting because you get a pretty good amount of choices as well as endings. However, to unlock certain achievements, you have to be pretty specific in your responses. This can help you see other sides of each character, but it can also take A LOT of time (unless you have a guide). Overall, I would say this is a nice experience of navigating those troubled waters in a relationship, but if you play and complete everything, you may get tired of Sam's constant insecurity. By like my 10th play through, I wanted a "yell at her" option. So kudos for making Sam super accurate.

Try it out and support the team! I'd say it's worth a few of the endings :)

This game is beautifully done. I played it when I felt kind of down about something and in trying to be a great friend to someone else in the game, it kind of made me feel better? It's weird...sometimes though, you just need someone there :)

This game is a very relaxing experience. Rainy season does a great job of taking a memory and portraying it through the eyes of a child. It's a fun and very nostalgic adventure, whether you grew up in Japan or not. It made me feel like a kid again and I'm happy the creator was able to share this memory with us, in such a creative way.

This game blew my mind. It's way more than a tale of two people falling in love over street fighter and music, it has a secondary plot, if you really read everything. Nothing is what it seems in this game and it truly reflects an "All-American" household in my opinion- beautiful on the outside but so many hidden secrets. I felt as if the mansion itself was a direct reflection on the interpersonal relationships of the characters. I don't know, I'm not a professional reviewer, but this is truly an enjoyment if you love deep and immersive story-telling.

Episode 1 is definitely a great start to this series. I look forward to the future for this game. It's got such a unique art style, interesting music and locations...and LOVE the dialogue. This game does take me back to old school point and click games where you won't always know what to do, but with a little observation and creativity, the puzzles aren't too hard. The answers to some are actually even kinda funny. All in all, please check this out if you're like me- looking for an off beat treasure in the massive sea of Steam lol

I tried to be there for Emily. I realized very soon however, that she would never be happy. Emily is trying to find herself, wondering if you'll lend a sympathetic ear every now and then. As the years went on, my feelings for Emily even as just a friend dissappeared. We've all had this friend in our lives, she is the tragic one- one that will not take any advice and thinks she knows best...what saddens me the most is that even as she was about to graduate college, she still cannot see the world beyond herself.

Rather than see this as endless friendzoning, as a woman I'm calling this out as I see it. Emily is a representation of self indulgent youth. That is all. Worth a look definitely for its narrative and style, but don't feel sorry for her, feel sorry that you wasted years trying to reach someone who chose to be unhappy XD
