The game draws a lot of Door Kickers comparisons, but they feel very different, having to plan everything from the start vs dk2 being more of an rts with frequent pausing and changes make them totally distinct games, and npb is definitely worth picking up no matter how much playtime you have in the door kickers games. Also this one actually has female voices for the female operators lol

There's some things that could use improvements, like higher difficulties making enemies a bit too keen on rushing you, leaving the back half of the level empty often, but it's still in active development and I'm excited to see it grow. As it is currently it's still very much worth playing and a full experience.

Edit: the difficulty and ai have been overhauled and fixed every problem I had. The game is in a great place already, some minor QoL things like windows shattering so you don't clip through em would make it perfect

It ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks, simple as. The mechs feel like the perfect balance of weighty and agile, the customization and build variety is good, the strategic layer adds more depth to the tactics. Reminiscent of games like Frozen Synapse and Door Kickers while still feeling very unique. It's very good

it's the skyrim of milsims, and I don't mean it in a nice way. It's what you need to use because it has 10 years worth of mods behind it and you can't find that anywhere else, but the game is really showing its age and is held together with rubber bands and spaghetti code. We really need a new game to take its place. And remember to add women next time

The game has been out for almost 10 years and is just ports of games up to 20 years old, and many of the campaigns are still unplayable, especially in co-op. Some days they work, but others, good luck lol. Some of the best campaigns of all time brought down by ridiculous issues. Shame on Microsoft and 343's management for allowing this mess to persist for so long

i like the game and want it to succeed, though the monetization system is not great so far. Paladins and Smite's founder packs got you every current and future character, paying $50 for the ultimate edition doesnt even do that here. I happily bought paladins' and smite's founder editions but won't be doing so here

that being said, the game is very fun and worth a shot, especially if you can get in free. My new favorite platform fighter without any doubt

Deckbuilder roguelike with amazing style and story, maybe the best in the genre. I also appreciate it having female animals and not Disney-fying them

a few free hours hours of fun with friends and family in discord. Only complaint is that the blood feels very jarring and I wish there was a toggle for it (maybe there already is and I just didn't see it)

worst UI a game has ever had. Riddled with bugs. Menus frequently just lie to you and overwrite loadouts or reset keybinds with no prompting, you also can't save your weapons as blueprints like the last modern warfare allowed, so when you lose a gun to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you have to painstakingly tune each attachment again (because attachments have to be tuned now!)

the gaming industry is in dire straits if this ♥♥♥♥ is acceptable to release from the biggest development studio in the world. absolute joke
