Doesn't hold a candle to MW2019. Other than animations and map design, this is a downgrade in every way.
Even if they fix the constant crashing, visibility, spawn issues, and weapon balancing, you're still getting the controller auto aim experience -- without any movement options to break their lock-on.

A subpar clone of SWAT4 with better graphics. The only reason why RoN rates highly on Steam is because this is the first competent entry into the genre in 17 years. Gameplay-wise, actually pretty decent. However:

Devs timelock and paygate exclusive content behind a $150 founder's edition paywall, despite charging a whopping $40 price for Early Access. In comparison, Squad was $30 with no exclusive content, and Insurgency Sandstorm was $20 on release.

Ready or Not is releasing with less than half the content than either game, with double the price tag, and the 'full' game locked behind a $150 pricetag. Full game meaning: receiving patches 2-3 weeks early, an FBI multicam playermodel, and an exclusive gun.

The game is promising, but I'd recommend holding for now until more content gets added to the game.

A flashy, cinematic WW2 shooter with no substance.

Gameplay design is rife with schizophrenic decisions that don't know if this game is trying to be a slower paced Squad/Post Scriptum, or a successor to Red Orchestra 2. Extremely fast reloads and bolting, gunplay with no recoil, and a forced 10s death screen regardless of how long you've actually been dead. It's hard to know where to begin.

Map design is nothing short of horrific. The developers think a satellite image of six fields and a chicken coop is a good map for 100 players to fight over. It's genuinely awful with no gameplay considerations whatsoever.

There is no sprint. You hold shift for the illusion of going fast. I don't know what they were going with this -- even Arma and Squad have sprint. My guess is that too many people were missing their shots with rifles, so everyone moves at the speed of geriatric old women with walkers in a nursing home. Apparently it isn't realistic to miss shots at 200m, especially in WW2.

Which goes into my next point. Matches are slow, boring, and static. When you can't do something as simple as dash from cover to cover, aggressive play has all but been deleted from the game. Both teams are at the complete whim of one heroic schmuck (hopefully on their team) spamming spawnpoints across the map. Because when all aggressive play has been deleted from the game, the way to win is to constantly throw bodies into a capture zone -- because unlike RO2/RS2 or Squad, there is no ticket or reinforcement system.

As for authenticity, this is yet another WW2 shooter where everyone has semi automatic rifles or fully automatic SMGs running around in Winter smocks during the Summer or short sleeves in the Winter. Sure, there's no funny prototypes weapons like CoD or Battlefield, but is there any difference when 6/6 players in a squad have access to semi and full auto weaponry?

This game looks really good in screenshots and gameplay trailers. But its gameplay is lackluster beyond belief.

Launch game is nothing like the public betas.

Controllers have aimbot levels of aim assist, and KBM physically cannot compete. Unlike MCC, there's no input based matchmaking.

There's also a small host of technical issues-- bizarre mouth smoothing, input lag, forced T-AA, and bad performance where 60 fps somehow doesn't feel like 60 fps.

To top it off, Halo Infinite features the worst monetization on the market. Even EA and Activision have better microtransactions, which is saying something.

If you're not willing to play on a controller, stay clear.

An atmospheric walking sim with horror elements, rather than a true horror game.
Still fun though, and it's short and sweet.

Strongly recommended on sale.

The absolute worst take on PvP in the tactical shooter genre I've ever seen.

List of gripes:

- smokes are inconsistent and result in one way death traps
- abysmal map design where you run 200m to the objective, half the playable area is invisibly closed off for being too close to spawn zones, while players with 2000 hours rocket spawnwaves with ease
- downright absurd chokes and hallways into objectives, even though you had to run 200m to even get there
- weapon damage makes no sense even within the same calibre

Sandstorm has okay PvE, but if you want PvP, take a look at Rising Storm 2, Squad, HLL, or PS instead.

Fun with friends, as it's hard to get play with randoms.

Round planning and aiming for headshots are both critical to success. If you have milsim boomer aim, Due Process will be difficult to get into.

It's still in early Early Access but dev team is making good pace with content updates.

100% worth it on sale.

Monopoly with a Touhou skin. And just like real Monopoly, it's a slow gruelling process of a game where you slowly lose or slowly win over the course of two hours based on your luck in the first handful of turns. Other than the wildly RNG land confiscation fairy and the extremely rare land confiscation card there's nothing in the game to allow losing players to turn the tide.

Overall execution is okay despite the stilted English, but balancing is quite poor with some characters having noticeably stronger passives/ultimates compared to others.

If you really like Monopoly, then this game is pretty much it. If you're like me and strongly dislike Monopoly, get 100% OJ instead.

I hit Gold, and I struggle to recommend this game to anyone.

As a newcomer to fighting games, there are a couple glaring issues with SFV:

Netcode is completely inexcusable
- Five frame input delay
- This will GROW based on how many buttons players are pressing at a given moment (I'm not joking), which stage the game is being played on, how badly overheating your opponent's PS4 is, and whether or not your opponent is kicking the router every time he gets hit
- The pacing of the match is completely dependent on how garbage your opponent's internet is. Again, if your opponent is kicking his router or mashing buttons during your combo, the match WILL start lagging out and consequently, you will probably drop your combo
- Bonus points for time dilation if he's playing on WiFi
- This time dilation FAVOURS the player with the worse internet and/or framerate
- If I was a jerk who wanted to win, I would probably have a noticeable advantage if I limited my framerate to 30-45

Balancing is terrible
- Akuma has gotten repeatedly nerfed over the course of FOUR YEARS and is still considered top 3
- Balancing revolves around knowledge gimmicks that don't work once you realise how they function, but until you look up frame data using third party tools (because, inexplicably, vital information such as frame data and hitboxes are NOT visible ingame), you will eat knowledge check gimmicks every single time
- most characters have extremely unfavourable matchups where player skill isn't even taken into account. Most, if not all, high level players competing in tournaments and organised matches will play more than one character for this reason - so they don't lose matches due to bad matchups

Ingame tools are awful
- Tutorial is garbage
- Zero information on completely vital information such as frame data or hitboxes
- UI is garbage
- Ten hour cutscenes loading into a match, finding a match, match intermission, loading back into training after finishing a match. A solid third of my time playing SFV has been staring at the screen waiting for unskippable cutscenes to be over
- The first time a friend invited me to battle lounge I had to search the menu for a couple minutes trying to accept the invite
- No multiplayer training mode (this was apparently in SF4? Why isn't it in SFV?)

That said, SFV is one of the more popular fighting games out there. I guess it does take a special kind of autism if you're into this genre.

A generally great game with a ton of multiplayer potential. However, it's marred by serious balancing issues regarding hitscan weapons and certain Titans.

When people abuse gamebreaking hitscan weapons and Titans, it devolves the match into "do the same thing or lose". In a game revolving around fast-paced movement and gunplay, it's absurd that someone hardcamping a vantage point can use multiple low recoil rapid-firing three-shot-kill hitscans to shut down half the map.

However, the matches when you play against people who are not pitching a tent is quite fun. It almost makes up for the amount of people who do.

Titanfall 2 has a fantastic singleplayer, but its multiplayer has annoying balancing issues. Would recommend it on sale.
