A fantastic narrative resouce-management strategy game, in the vein of King of Dragon Pass, Six Ages, or Citizen Sleeper with turn-based city building gameplay. There's a supply chain management factor that's engaging without being overwhelming, and the tactical combat gameplay feels like a streamlined version of Into the Breach.

I spent six hours in the demo, which covers the entirety of Chapter 1, and was constantly surprised by the new elements introduced and the way the narrative and gameplay come together to be engaging and meaningful!

If you've tried Arcen's games before and are worried about the learning curve, this is by far the easiest one to get into, IMO.

Pretty much the best 4X game out there, turning into a fantastic grand strategy game as a playthrough goes on.
