If you like Fallout New Vegas then you will love this game. It feels like a modern FNV without the clunky engine, bad npc's, and glitches. The outer worlds feels like a playable movie, and the game world feels alive. It takes place in an outer rim, far far from Earth, called Halycon. An oligarchy of corporations controls all life, and the inhabitants are forced into the system or face death. It reminded me a lot of Vault tec. The different corporations control different fields of industry, but they all conduct experiments. Like the vaults of FNV AND FO3, these labs show different stories. Quests and actions completed decide your total outcome. Similar to Hover Damn or Project purity and all that of FO3. In one final quest you complete your save game, and the results are decided by your characters reputation, choices, and all that. This game is basically what FO4 should have been. The whole companion system is fixed in this as well. All bethesda games had wonky basic mechanics, but The Outer Worlds has a great system. 10/10
