Movement is awkward, all NPC's spout the same line over and over again (sometimes at the same time), combat feels sloppy, game switches to a comic book approach near the end when after all the attempts to remain as historically accurate goes null when the Wehrmacht release a supersoldier hip-firing an MG42.
Is it well designed? To me, No.
Is it fun? To me, yes

As Iconic as Doom, truly a staple of gaming. Now everytime you see a 4-player co-op shooter, you'll probably call it a Left 4 Dead clone.
