Great game. I rarely complete games these days but this one was worth it.

John Gibson (President of Tripwire Interactive) is the reason for this review.

I've never played a Yakuza game before and haven't been interested in them. But this game is great.

I bought this at release but didn't play it until I got a copy from Humble Choice that I gave to a friend. We played about three hours and can safely say that we will never boot up the game again.

The humor is quirky but bad, the guns feel like peashooters, the progression/unlocks and customization is extremely limited and the characters all have boring and worthless "perks".

We played about two hours of the campaign and then went on to do an hour of Horde mode, which is even worse. There's no persistent progression in Horde mode. You get a checkpoint at wave 15 so you can start from there next time, but you'll have to start over with nothing from that point.

Even as part of Humble Choice at $12, essentially meaning I paid $1 for my friend's copy, I cannot recommend it.

Very interesting take on a combination of point-and-click adventure and idle-game.

You're supposed to wait 400 days. How you spend that time is up to you. Do you just sit down and come back after 400 real days? Do you explore the caves? Remember: Keep yourself occupied, maybe read a book and time will fly by. 400 days will feel like nothing.

Don't expect to finish this game in a sitting. Or ten.

A short but great game. Simple controls and is more of an interactive tale. Made me cry. Highly recommended!
